I bought the Lifeproof-fre case for my iPhone 5 with the assumption that is was the best way to protect my phone. That was not the case as when it fell out of my pocket and hit the ground it left multiple cracks across the front of my screen. I am highly disappointed in this product.

I was unable to use my keyboard or my finger recognition. I chose to return it.

Case didn't hold phone snug, caused the phone to have a vibration while talking

Followed directions, tested it. Passed that test. Was impressed until vacation. Daughter was in a 4 foot deep pool and it failed. It let water in, so guess what happened to the phone. GONE, $150 deductible later... I would NOT recommend it. :(

Good looking case but it didn't fit my phone. I returned it the same day.

Went in hot tub with iPhone 5s in the case in pocket. Phone no longer works. Called company. They were no help. Their website says water proof. They will only replace your phone if you are a Verizon customer, which it does not say on the website. They offered to replace the case. No Thank You!

I had a nice magenta life proof case but it had ripped due to wear and tear, so I needed a new one. I purchased this white one but the Touch ID does not work on it.

The rep checked me out for two iPhones 5c did bother to inform improper case. So had to go back and find the proper one which is great.

Just remember if water leaks in...phone not covered under normal warranty. In pool 2nd time when water leaked in. Do not trust it.

This is our second Lifeproof case for an iphone. Switching to a newer version of the iphone necessitated a new case and Lifeproof was the choice over Otterbox for our teenager. The case is lighter and much easier to take on and off. I would recommend this for any teenager.

I purchased this case as a replacement for my first lifeproof which had taken over a years worth of abuse. I have taken my phone in the ocean, in pool, and anywhere else you can imagine. The underwater photo quality is great. I can say that these cases are built to last. My other case is still fine (besides a-ton of scratches) I just bought a new one to assure the water proof abilities. I love this case and will always stick with lifeproof!

After reviewing the posted comments about the LifeProof case I was hesitant to purchase it because of these reviews and that the touch ID didn't work inside the case. THIS IS NOT TRUE! This case provides all the protection you want with access to touch ID. I purchased the case in store which was price matched to Amazon.com for $54.99!!!! Amazing deal, I'm super happy!

Overall this is a good case to protect your iphone from the elements. It's lightweight and not very bulky. It's also as slim as an otterbox commuter series case and has a built in screen protector which is a nice feature. Even though it is a durable case, it can be tricky to remove the case from the phone.

Pros: I've had this case for almost 2 years. I've dropped my phone on concrete, marble, and asphalt over a dozen times from standing position. This case basically bounces! It is rockstar! Cons: If you play music or videos on full/high volume through the speaker, it distorts the sound.

The lifeproof is a must have for any phone. The case is ideal for kids and those that are outdoors alot. Protects against water and dirt. The profile is not bulky.
