My mom was the same way so she bought a new case and I typically use my earpiece or try speaker phone. It was a free case with purchase though.

Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.
