However within 2 months the button for the mute broke off, allowing water to enter the case. I returned it and they gave me another, but we will have to wait to see if this one works better.

I took it in the ocean and it survived, I had it in the hot sun all day and it didn't overheat I even dropped it off the balcony of our hotel room (22nd floor) and it was still on when I finally found it in the brush... Unharmed. I am thoroughly impressed and so glad I spent the money for it!!!
