Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

Only worked for 6 weeks

But then I took it with me last week on a cruise, the case failed and my phone is toast. The case gives you a false sense of security and is very expensive.

I have always had Otter Box defender cases and have dropped my phone from way higher and never had a problem. This case is a joke.

Went from otter box to lifeproof because I was told it was better so far not impressed. Submitted my warranty claim so well give it another try. Hoping for better results this time.

We noticed that after she put it in the case there was some dust she missed. We opened the case back up and there were 2 minor cracks on the phone where the case closed. Well, there was nothing really to about it. So, we put the phone back in the case. Fast forward one week later...She wasn't paying attention and had the phone in her waistband and decides lay on her stomach on our living room floor. She feels something crack and realizes she laid on her phone. Now my daughter is 135 lb and 5'8" - not exactly a heavy teenager. She looks and the phone (still in the case) has 2 major cracks in the screen starting from where the 2 small cracks had formed. Needless to say, this case is definitely not Life Proof and actually harmed the phone more than it helped. My recommendation- don't buy it.

The person using the case sounds like they are talking in the distance or in a tunnel. It is not real clear. If you hold the microphone straight out and up to your mouth, then the voice becomes much clearer. Disappointed.
