I have taken my phone in the ocean, in pool, and anywhere else you can imagine. The underwater photo quality is great. I can say that these cases are built to last. My other case is still fine (besides a-ton of scratches) I just bought a new one to assure the water proof abilities. I love this case and will always stick with lifeproof!

Very good water proof protector for iPhone

The only problem I found so far is the button for RING - SILENT switch it is very hard to activate. Also the ring sound is diminish but using the phone itself is no problem. The price at Best Buy was excellent.

This item was not a magenta/dark magenta case as pictured or described, it was actually magenta and black.
