It is very sleek, good looking, and since it comes in an array of different colors you can make it personable. They also sell skins you can place on your lifeproof to make it even more custom. My only complaints are the screen protector create an oil slick mark or newton rings that cause a rainbow effect taking away from the clarity or IPS display of the iPhone.. Also, the sound is very muffled. If you want the same protection without compromising the display clarity go for the Nuud. Watch my video for a more in depth review of the Lifeproof Fre

He has a gopro and goes under water so I figures it would be a great gift. Unfortunately after taking it inside a pool for the first time it didn't work. Messed up the iphone. I returned it and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone !

That was not the case as when it fell out of my pocket and hit the ground it left multiple cracks across the front of my screen. I am highly disappointed in this product.

Daughter was in a 4 foot deep pool and it failed. It let water in, so guess what happened to the phone. GONE, $150 deductible later... I would NOT recommend it. :(

They were no help. Their website says water proof. They will only replace your phone if you are a Verizon customer, which it does not say on the website. They offered to replace the case.
