I couldn't hear anyone on my new phone. This is the 4th Samsung phone that I have owned. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't hear people and I was getting terrible reception in my apartment. I have lived in my apartment for many years and I have had good reception. I took the contraption off and I can hear great now. I need to return this product because I paid a high price for junk. I am very unhappy.

I RETURNED THIS ITEM BECAUSE I WAS HAVING TROUBLE HEARING PEOPLE AND THEY WERE HAVING TROUBLE HEARING ME ON IT AS WELL.

Once the case was put in place and screwed in it was okay. Just too time consuming for cleaning.

Since purchasing and putting case on my phone I have been getting these oil looking spots inside my cover over the screen no matter how much I try to clean them they come back almost instantly. My wife bought same product about a month ago and it already broke in two places and she is not rough with her phone. Life proof so far didn't stand up.

The cas made hearing the unit and taking pictures useless

Liked the case while it lasted. Only had a couple of months and the small flap that opens to charge phone broke. Not water proof now. Not that this review will ever be responded too. Guess i wasted my money. I wont buy another one.

This case was sealed proof but couldn't plug my my aux cord in the port because the case blocked me from doing that.

The case did not secure the phone. I would not recommend this product.

My case cracked in 3 different spots after 4 weeks

difficult to open and hear people, and it still leaked a little bit.

Lifeproof is a staple in the phone case industry. I get that. I wanted something that was party-proof...this is as good as it gets. While it is waterproof and protected my phone when I dropped it, it's not $80 great. I have a hard time accessing the back/menu buttons on either side of the home button and I have relatively thin fingers. The headset jack plug feels very flimsy. I could see it easily coming off. Also, the attachment for the headset/headphones is a pain to use. It doesn't screw in as it did with the iPhone case I once had. It now "pops" in. It pops in so much that it seals, which is great, right? Wrong. It's, to my ability, impossible to get out without: A)Breaking it B)Dismantling the case and gently removing the phone - having to use my thumb to 'pop' it out...and it does pop with force. It usually flies about 2 feet away. Therefore, headphones aren't really usable unless you plan to leave them in for an extended period of time. I'm sorry I wasted the money on this.

My husband and I bought this product last night and we are going to return in. First off it makes my phone act funny. The phone pretty much does whatever it wants because the voice command keeps popping up even though I'm not asking anything. Phone does not respond to my commands when I click on an application. The back and menu button are not very accessible. The home button is very hard to press. When an application does open it closes within 10 seconds. The sound on the phone with the case on is horrible. When on a call the voice sounds very muffled. My husband and I tried to have a conversation during his lunch break and we could not undertstand one another.

I purchased a galaxy s4 from BB in January 2014. The BB rep. told me the lifeproof case was the best case on the market and I should buy one. I took his advice, and although the price was higher than I wanted to spend, I purchased it. The case was fine until around 6 months, when the lid that covers the charging port broke off. I tried to glue it back and it lasted a short time and broke off again. I contacted Lifeproof and they sent me another complete case. I treated the next case VERY carefully, but despite this the cover again broke off in February 2015. I again contacted Lifeproof and was promptly told that the 1 yr. warranty had expired. So now I have a $80.00+ case that is not only not waterproof, but allows dust/dirt to enter the charging port of the phone. I would recommend NOT buying one of these cases. They are cheaply made, poorly designed, and definitely not worth the high price.

Like everyone else I've read the reviews on how the sound was a problem for this case. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and the way I got around that problem (yes the sound was horrible I either had to plug in my headphones or use my bluetooth ear piece) was I made sure that everything was nice and tight (for the water proof part), I then filled the sink with hot water, but not too hot so I could actually reach in and grab my phone. I left my S4 submerged for about 5 min then reach in, took it out and dried the case. I have not had any issues with the sound from the phone yet and its been 3 weeks so far. Aside from that I love this case.

I have had this case from day 1 release. The first day there was a scratch on the screen and I only put the phone in my pocket with no other items. I take very good care of my phones and cases. Life proof replaced the case and now the fold down charger port cover broke off. This is a port that you will have to access daily to charge your phone. Without it the case is no longer water resistant. This case is no where close to the quality you get from their apple cases which I also own and they are 100 times better quality. My friend also has this case and we have the same problem with phone ear piece audio. When receiving calls the sound is very bad. I always have to switch to the side speaker to make the call. This is bad when you want to have a private call. I would give less stars but the fit and look of the case is actually really nice. So that part gets 2 stars. Everything else is a failure.

I love this case! It doesn't add any bulk to my phone and I don't have any problems with sound quality during phone calls. Overall, a great case. Lifeproof did good once again!

Well worth the price, not as big as an Otterbox but protects the same if not more (waterproof, dust, etc) All parts of phone easily assessable
