Seemed like a reliable case. Until I dropped my phone 4 inches and the case broke into 4 pieces and my phone screen shattered. Definitely not wasting that much money again on something that doesn't work at all.

Case started leaking not even 1 month after receiving. Cases don't last and Lifeproof doesn't stand by warranty (have to pay a fee to replace)

To the people who always gripe and whine about the case having horrible sound, its designed to be completely sealed out from the elements, and with that will come a few sacrifices. Id rather have garbage sound with a case that is sure to protect my phone if I drop it into a toilet or jump into a river with it than allow even a little drop of water touch the thing. So shut up and take into account what this case was designed to do, because it does an awesome job.

The most important aspects of what I look for in a case are: size/weight, functionality, and if it actually PROTECTS my phone. Well, so far so good. I absolutely love the look, not too bulky as an Otterbox, and I really like how you can see the actual color of the actual phone. Most cases cover up the color of your phone. Water resistant is an amazing feature although, it isn't that important to me. I would give 5 stars if the phone had a way of being life proof without muffling the audio and of course the fingerprint security option seems to be pointless using this case.

I was able to take about 5 hours of underwater videos of sealife and reef--awesome pictures and quality--but there is a catch: you have to turn on the video before going underwater--also, for whatever reason took many, many attempts to get the video to go past five seconds; however, when it works, absolutely the best video to date and so neat to have it right on your device. Waterproof--indeed--a hicup-most certainly. As long as you are not in a hurry--you can get some brillent underwater videos. Damage to device--zero!

We have life proof cases on most of our cell phones. Daughter decided to use a different product last time she got a new phone. After water and drop damage over the next year and then having to wait another year to replace that phone she decided it might be best to go back to life proof case. Been very happy since.

This case feels great in your hand and also seems extraordinarily rugged. I work in the trades and need a very strong case to prevent damage. Unfortunately I have to press it against my head as hard as I can in order to hear through the waterproof membrane when on phone calls. It hurts your ear because you cannot hear through it. Will be investigating other products

Looking to buy my second case for the same phone. Purchased my last case about 5 months ago. The hinge broke off and the headphone jack plunger/seal fell off too. When I put the phone in my back pocket the rubber seal must catch on the pants and pull away. Aside from those two problems I think the case is worth it. My phone still looks brand new. Looking to buy a second one now.

The case overall is a really good case. It's not bulky for its overall protection. The big issue is the sound blocking. You can't hear anyone when you talk on the phone. If you place them on speaker phone you get terrible feedback. It also muffles video sound as well. The only way to to increase the volume slightly is by opening up the tab that covers the charging port. So, as long as you aren't using your phone as a phone it's great.

Fantastic case especially for those who are accident prone. Only downside is that removing the case is very difficult but it does keep your phone safe which is exactly what I need with 2 dogs and working with children and being very accident prone.

I am glad i bought this case for the price i paid for it . I love that it doesnt add weight to my phone either. I just wish my volume was a but louder to hear threw the case.

I typically prefer the Lifeproof case over the Otterbox case because of the slimmer profile. With a phone this big, the Lifeproof case let me keep my phone in my pocket still, regardless of the pants that I wear.

I purchased the life proof protective case 77-51242 for my son prior to his leaving for spring break. After dropping his phone with the protective case into the ocean, into a toilet. And..Dropping it twice on a black top parking lot; he returned with his phone unscathed. The protective case saved me the cost of a new I phone, It's been my wisest purchase to date.

I needed a newer sleeker case and this is definitely it! Plus the cute colors are a plus. For someone who constantly drops her phone this had protected 100%.

Works in the shower, the ocean. It keeps your phone safe from water.

No issues. Not too bulky and great protection for around the pool.
