However, the charge port cover breaks off at the hinge after ~3-5 months, defeating the waterproof claims (I have replaces the case under warranty 3 times now, and each time it has broken in short order). Additionally, I have noticed significant dust entering under the screen cover, despite careful cleaning and installation in store. Unfortunately, however, it still seems to be the best protective case available for the Galaxy S6.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I really love LifeProof products... however, I purchased a Lifeproof case for my Samsung Galaxy S6 in late November 2015, and I'm having issues with the little flap that covers the power cord port: the tiny hard plastic hinge eventually cracks and snaps off, which is then impossible to seal the port... even though I've been extra careful not to open/close it so much. It's now the end of May 2016, and I need to replace this Lifeproof case not once, but a second time.... That's three new cases in just six months. :-( I went through Best Buy to replace the case the first time (with no issues whatsoever - super easy transaction), but enough time has gone by that I'm now going to have to deal with the Lifeproof company directly, and they charge $5 for shipping/handling.

True, there is a $4.99 shipping and handling fee for warranty replacements but once we get that and some basic information we will be happy to send out a brand new case. So it's pretty much useless to me now. I just feel it should hold up more than 2 months.

One suggestion to fix this would be to provide soare parts, otherwise the cover is useless And the price is over rated.

Dont advertise lifeproof/waterproof/resistent if you cant back it up. And yes, I know how to read the instructions
