I had heard really good reviews about this case so I went ahead and bought one for my phone, my wife's and my son's phone. I keep the charging door closed at all times unless charging and when I went to open it today, the small tab that is attached to the main body broke off. I am pretty disappointed and of course just threw the box away last night. I am hoping that I will be able to exchange this for another case.

I broke my Glass On my New Samsung Galaxy Note 7 within 4-days with this case. Bad design by Samsung. Next time Otterbox

just after 2 months the charging door broke now it just hangs there

It is suppose to have a lifetime warranty. They then said lifetime is considered 5 years. However, are S7 case is less than 5 years old and they refuse to honor the warranty because they are no longer making those cases. This is simply fraud. Bestbuy should drop the whole lifeproof line.

Picked up my product and not even 3 days later had to return it cause the rubber came off exposing the charger piece. Switched it out for a new one not even 30 days later and the hard piece that holds the charging clip closed broke so it wouldn't clip closed anymore. Called lifeproof and they gave me another one and it has been about a month- 2 and the same piece has broke off again

Was to bulky, water got in it and I couldn't get it to close tight

Only marked it down due to the price. Otherwise this is the best case manufacture. The company has replaced previous cases for $5 even though it is out of the 1 year warranty. I've already dropped the phone a few times (accident) onto some rocks from about 4' up. The fit makes the phone only slightly bigger (a lot smaller than otter box). The charging port is a little too tight to open. Not an issue for me as I use wireless charging all the time.

Just had the second one break, this one lasted slightly less than a month.

I took it back after a couple of days. The screen seemed fuzzy and I thought it was just the new phone until I took the phone out of the case. Also, the case makes the phone really wide and it won't fit in many of the pockets I want to put it in. I love life proof cases...this just wasn't for me.

Thought this would be a great idea for moisture control and water sports. First out of the packaging, I could not snap the pieces together to do a water test. Possibly they were a bit warped? Decided it wasn't worth the effort or price and returned the item.

Purchased for $50 thought great deal from regular price, my surprise the case has problems, Your screen will fog up the closing latch for charging breaks to easy. I returned thought I broke it, nope its a defective model [Same problems] not worth it.

I read a lot of review about this case before buying it, and found the critical reviews to not reflect my experience. I bought this case as an alternative to the Otterbox Defender series case for the GS7, as the Otterbox is poorly designed for the GS7 in terms of fit. If you pop out the protective film, the phone will rattle inside the case. That being said, The Lifeproof case fits like a dream. It is very tight, with close tolerances that command a firm snap to set the case into place. The film covering the screen is problematic in two areas however: Trying to engage the thumbprint sensor and when "sliding up" from the bottom of the screen to activate Samsung pay. I cannot say that it is a design fault, but more so the nature of the beast. Some responsiveness is sure to be lost. This case will not float or respond underwater. One thing I did when I got it was to immediately take it into the pool. I tried doing filming underwater which works great until the screen becomes confused from water contact. The float test proved negative, whereby the phone sunk to a depth of about 5 feet without any water intruding the internal cavity. The water-proofing worked! The glass lens does seem to have trouble polishing up, and has a residual blue haze over the lens, although I don't think it impacts quality of shoots. I do worry about how tight the clasp is over the charging port. I believe though it will last the life of the phone since basic quality testing would easily prove whether or not it can withstand a few thousand cycles of opening and closing the port. I give this product 5 stars overall because it meets or exceeds the demands required of a case that promises to keep your phone alive through anything life will throw at it. The case provides excellent fit and feel, and is worth the money if you want a case that is capable of doing it all.

Case has a long bubble all along the right side of the screen that I can not get rid of! Extremely irritating to use, definitely not worth $50. Would recommend a Tech21 or Speck case instead. Will be returning this case today.
