Didnt have my new phone and case for 7 full days before the power input cover on the bottom broke and will no longer latch shut. Needless to say thats a huge bummer for a "waterproof" phone case.

My husband has broken 4 life proof boxes. Yes, they will replace, but you have to pay shipping and handling, and it's always broken with in the first month. Get an Otterbox.

the first time it was dropped it broke and is not water proof , i had it less than a month,i am trying to contact lifeproof about a replacement unfornatly i can not get a refund.

Already needed a replacement and best buy wouldn't do it since I didn't have the box , so I was forced to pay a warrenty fee and I haven't even had the case a month yet

I bought this thinking it will high quality. Sadly, the bottom cover for the port wears down very quickly and broke off.

its too hard to remove phone from clip with one hand. and didnt like that it needs to be carried sideways to ensure that phone doesnt slip out. returned

I've used LifeProof cases before and love them but this one is so warped that I can't even get it on my phone and I have to take it back to Best Buy.

The case is too slippery. Edge touch spots are atleast a two touch process and often two to five touches. Have to use an adapter two use cable port.

Breaks or wears out quite often. For something to be considered lifeproof more like will always break on you proof.

Do not buy this case the place were you shut after charging already won't stay shut case is now worthless

The plastic by the charge port cover failed. And the cover itself made the fingerprint reader useless.

Had to return this case because it leaked. Hoping there's no damage to the phone.

Didnt even get to use in the water. Charger piece unsnapped.

I dont recommend at all breaks to easy like its not worth the money

His case doesn't do what I thought it would do for my phone.

After using lifeproof cases to protect my Samsung phone investments for years I bought this case for my new S7. The quality of the Lifeproof case has really gotten cheap. The clip that opens for the charging port broke and I normally charge using a wireless charging pad. Considering that I'm sure it would have broken much sooner than it did. The waterproofing feature is not reliable. After dropping my phone in the sink with the water running, I noticed water got inside. My phone is waterproof up to a couple feet anyways so it was fine, but i wouldn't rely on the case for protection in deeper water. It has protected my phone from a couple drops and kept my screen in good shape. The warranty process is pretty hassle free, but I don't want to have to pay the $6 shipping for a replacement. It seems like they know the cases will break easily and for $6 it seems pretty reasonable, but I would rather buy a quality product and skip the hassle.

The case is everything you would expect from LifeProof. It fits perfectly, and has zero impact on the use of the phone. The touch screen is still very responsive and the fingerprint scanner works. The phone has been dropped a couple of times with no damage, and there's no fear of getting caught in a sudden monsoon (which is what killed my last phone) I dinged it one star for two reasons: Cost - this is one of the most expensive cases on the market. Screen Cover - it does protect the phone's screen, but the clear plastic part of the case will scratch easily.

I bought an unlocked Samsung S7 in Nov 2016 and wanted to protect my investment so I chose Lifeproof case. Within 7 months I have gone through 2 cases already. The first one the charging protector clip broke and wouldnt close. I contacted lifeproof and they sent me a second one free of charge March or April but informed me with the next one I'd have to pay for s & h. Really?? And now, going through the second one just 2-3 months later, the screen protector has managed to come undone at the seams, making my screen taps very loud and pronounced and obviously making my phone vulnerable to shock and water damage. Its a cool case, cool concept- it is most definitely waterproof but still use caution because at this point it's a gamble for how long that protection will last with each new case. Although customer service was nice, im not sure im going to call back for a 3rd replacement. For the price and given its name I'd expect better quality.
