Service from Lifeproof was excellent. Only concern is the top left button piece that may push sound to mute.

The case does seem to provide excellent drop protection and I tested the water proof capabilities with great success. Unfortunately, the case tends to muffle most of your conversation when talking to somebody. I had no choice but to return it. A Best Buy employee told me that he has witnessed people having to go through two or three of them until they get to one that doesn't cause the issue.

We want to assure you that having sound problems is not typical and in the very rare times that it does occur we can usually fix it with some basic troubleshooting.
