Don't worry too much about the call muffling reviews... unfortunately this is a little bit of an issue with this style of case, but is not too too bad. If you have any issues, you can always plug in your headset. This was a purchase for my fiance, she loves the color and it keeps her phone safe. This to me is a win win!

Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

Great protection for IPhone but...

The only negative is that the mute/sound button is very hard to use and the third time I switched it to mute/silent the rubber coating split off of the button making the case no longer submerge proof. I know this is my fault but I feel it's something to be careful of. Otherwise very nice case and I got a great deal on it at Best Buy.

Great protection, hard for others to hear

My only complaint is that others (mainly my husband) complain that I sound like I'm talking in a tunnel or that I'm "300 feet away from my phone" I never had that issue with my lifeproof for my iPhone 5c.

Great protector for ur iphone

I'm clumsy and this case protects my new iPhone from scratches dust and me dropping it. It comes in all different colors but I love the dark gray. U won't be sorry and if u want to protect ur hefty investment and have a awesome case plus it's waterproof buy this case.

Very Nearly Lives Up to Its Name

This case was to replace a similar OtterBox which, regrettably, met a tragic end. About three weeks into owning this LifeProof case, the threaded headphone jack protector insert vanished. The arm attaching the insert to the rest of the case is a bit thin, and it looks as if it just quickly wore down. Besides that, solid case!

iPhone case

Unfortunately I've always had to cash in the warranties for them. It's great for protecting my phone from falls, scratches, ect. However, I notice after about 8 months the cases begin to wear from use. So I wouldn't use my phone underwater. I do recommend the case but since it wears I think it should be priced lower.
