Lifeproof came out with a second version which I had gotten before and it had the larger port hole which accepted larger aftermarket braided cables.

I just don't have the time to run back to Best Buy to return/exchange substandard products. The case looks very nice, but it isn't waterproof since it doesn't close properly.

Lifeproof iphone 6 case offers poor sound quality

I could hear them but they had a hard time understanding. I took back this phone case & exchanged it for the otter box Defender series case. The otter box case worked out best!!
