The case may be great IF you could use the charger that comes with the iPhone 6. The case is made where you either have to remove it to charge iPhone or buy new chargers that have longer part that fits into iPhone.

    Great protection

Overview: Pros: Protection Does not add much bulkiness to the phone. Thin. Extremely light (for those who worry about weight). Screw for the headphone jack is attached to the case. For a fully enclosed case, the sound quality is still great (headpiece and speakers) Cons: Rainbow effect on the screen Only able to use original charging cable or a smaller one to charge the phone Personal opinion pro/con Price. Yes, it's a pricey case, but the protection it offers is well worth it in my opinion. Lifeproof cases in general have amazing protection. The Lifeproof case for the iphone 6 offers the same amazing protection as their other cases. It's light, doesn't add much bulkiness to the phone as other products do, mainly otterbox (which owns lifeproof now). One change they have made is that the screw that you can screw on and off for the headphone jack is attached to the case do that you don't lose it. The mute button is a little tricky. Make sure that you put the phone down in the screen protected part of the case first and align the button before placing the back on. One thing I have a complaint about, which is in the product description anyway and I knew about it before purchasing it is that the charging part of the case will only accept the original apple cable, or anything smaller. When I use the original apple cable to charge my phone I notice that it's very snug and doesn't go anywhere. So if you are a person who has other brand name cables like me for your car or work, they will not work unless they are the same size or smaller than the original apple cable you get. Also, when placing the phone in the screen protection portion of the case, try and get out at much air as possible. I did it by lifting a corner a little and pushing the air out, otherwise you will have bubbles which cause the rainbow effect to happen on your screen. Not really visible when the phone is in use, but when the phone screen is off you can see it. Other then that, this case is amazing. I've dunked it in water a couple times (after doing the water test) as well as dropping it a few times from roughly 4ft up onto a hard surface. The phone has not been damaged.

    So far so good

While I have not had this case very long, so far I love it. It gives me peace of mind that my phone is safe. The lightning port is large enough for many third party lightning cables. The headphone jack on the other hand is more limiting, most headphones will not fit, so you must use the included adapter. I had an otterbox before this case. It is thinner, lighter, and more protective. I did the water test and it passed. Screen quality so far seems to be better than the otterbox defender. I have not noticed any issues with rear and front cameras, any of the mics, or handset speaker quality. The speaker on the bottom is another story, it is slightly muffled, a suggestion is use an external speaker or open the lightning port.

LIfeproof you really messed this one up, you made the port for the charger too small. It will not with Apple accessories such as the Lighting to HDMI adapter will not work with this case. Bad move Lifeproof

I put my iPhone 5c in a sink full of water after installing it & my ph came out absolutely dry!!! Dropped it several times with no cracks or breaks & no damage at all! Only complaint I have is its hard to hear unless you leave the chg port open when talking & my headphone jack wouldn't fit with the case on. Since I don't use headphones much I have no other complaints.

Works great for protecting phone from water but I have to remove the case to charge it cuz the charger opening is too small. Also, be careful.i was in the ocean in Hawaii and a wave hit me and the force of the wave caused the little compartment where the charger port is to open. Phone didn't completely die but I have to use earbuds to listen to my phone cuz sound don't work.

Phone fell into lake works perfectly

I was in a remote area of Ontario Canada. My phone accidentally fell into the lake. It was submersed into 1 foot of water. It took about 10 minutes to find phone in water. Phone works perfectly. I am sure that the life proof cover is the reason why I can still use my hone. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is involved with outdoor activities around water

I used to have the Lifeproof for my iPhone 5. So i was excited to get it for the 6. It really does come in handy. Great for outdoor/water adventures. I've never had a problem with leakage or damaging the phone. The case itself can handle a good fall. The only downside is that when receiving a call the ring does sound a little muffled. But its something very minimal.

Decent protection, but interferes with Touch-I.D.

Purchased this case for my 6. (It also fits my new 6s as well) Seems to protect well enough, but there is an issue with this case interfering with the phones Touch-ID via the home button. Opening and unlocking the phone works fine, but it causes major problems on both the BofA Bank app, as well as Paypal. For some reason, the film they use to cover the home button is detected while trying to enable the touch-ID login features of both of these apps, disabling or making set up for Touch-ID on them impossible. I had to remove the case to be able to set up these apps, as i was getting constant errors with the phone installed in it. The protective film is responsive and seems to work well for all swiping gestures. Doesn't seem to reduce sensitivity too badly, nor obscure screen resolution. The threaded headphone jack looks like it does a decent job repelling water, but you have to use the provided threaded mini-plug to use the jack it's self. A pain, especially if you use the Aux input in your vehicle, etc. The knurl of that threaded cover also hurts your thumb if you text with two hands (I'm a lefty, and my thumb rests in that area). I like the square edges, as this does provide a more positive grip v/s a bare or round edged case, but the plastic it's self is pretty slippery and slides around on car center consoles, etc. Would love to see some rubber or silicone incorporated to prevent slippage. The sound is also pretty muted as is the ear piece. Phone convo sounds a bit 'papery', understandable, seeing as the case completely encapsulates the phone. To remove the phone from that case requires that you use a dime or penny to wedge along the seam around your device, using a prying action. I've decided on using another case for day to day, but am keeping this one for camping/beach trips for the added water resistance. I did find the main camera image quality unaffected (They use a crystal or glass insert for the main camera cover) but the film on the self facing camera reduces image qualities, thus making my awful selfies that much more awful. It's expensive, but seems to be a bit better design than the alternatives i looked at in this price range. I've been reading about other who've gotten water damage using this brands cases, so buy beware and do your own research in this dept.

Lifeproof fre case for iphone 6 was a hyped up choice for me. I heard a lot of good things about it so I decided why not. It passed the water test suggested before putting on the phone, no moisture, but then no one could hear me on a phone call. Well that sucked. Very muffled, and had to speak directly into the mic in order for others to hear me. As in I couldn't hold it up to my ear like a normal phone. Had to hold it flat. I took it back. Other than people not hearing me I guess it would be useful.
