Of course, a slight degradation of sound can be expected when a speaker is covered in a case, but this impact should be minimal. Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker membrane on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first. Try and pay special attention to make sure the speakers on your iPhone are lining up correctly with the vents on the case. This will allow for a clear path of sound. I didn't return in town until it was past the 15 days so they wouldn't take it back. What a huge loss of money for nothing.

A major downside though is that the silent button for ringer options is hard to switch on and off. My wife and I have had three and all are the same. Kind of sucks considering they cost $80. I would also have liked to see more of assortment of colors for women.
