Trouble with the mute toggle switch can be very, well, troubling. We’re sorry to see that you’re having some issues with this, but the good news is that it is general a pretty quick fix. We would recommend that you remove your device from the case and check to make sure that the plastic insert for the switch is still intact and seated correctly into the rubber side of the lid. If it is, go ahead and place your phone back inside the case with the switch side going in first to ensure a proper fit. Also, be aware that the switch functions backwards, so to speak, so you’ll want to push away from the screen to activate the ringer, and pull towards the screen to mute. If you continue to have any problems with this function, please feel free to give us a call at 1-888-533-0735, and we’ll troubleshoot some more with you or even set up a warranty claim for a replacement if necessary.
