I thought it was just that particular case but after going back to best buy and checking multiple cases, it's not.

While it did protect phone when dropped, did not protect screen as it shattered. Would recommend still getting screen protector but then would make even harder to push buttons. Have not had any issues with getting wet or dirty.

The only thing difficult to adjust to is the extra cord you have to plug in to the earphone jack, the speaker becomes staticy, and when on speaker the caller can barley hear me.
