I used to have the Lifeproof for my iPhone 5. So i was excited to get it for the 6. It really does come in handy. Great for outdoor/water adventures. I've never had a problem with leakage or damaging the phone. The case itself can handle a good fall. The only downside is that when receiving a call the ring does sound a little muffled. But its something very minimal.

I like this case. Is slim, easy to grip and protects the way is supposed to. The only reason is a 4 star and not 5 star is because I can't use any of my insignia cables to charge my phone with this case. The opening is too small and only the apple cables fit.

Purchased this case for my 6. (It also fits my new 6s as well) Seems to protect well enough, but there is an issue with this case interfering with the phones Touch-ID via the home button. Opening and unlocking the phone works fine, but it causes major problems on both the BofA Bank app, as well as Paypal. For some reason, the film they use to cover the home button is detected while trying to enable the touch-ID login features of both of these apps, disabling or making set up for Touch-ID on them impossible. I had to remove the case to be able to set up these apps, as i was getting constant errors with the phone installed in it. The protective film is responsive and seems to work well for all swiping gestures. Doesn't seem to reduce sensitivity too badly, nor obscure screen resolution. The threaded headphone jack looks like it does a decent job repelling water, but you have to use the provided threaded mini-plug to use the jack it's self. A pain, especially if you use the Aux input in your vehicle, etc. The knurl of that threaded cover also hurts your thumb if you text with two hands (I'm a lefty, and my thumb rests in that area). I like the square edges, as this does provide a more positive grip v/s a bare or round edged case, but the plastic it's self is pretty slippery and slides around on car center consoles, etc. Would love to see some rubber or silicone incorporated to prevent slippage. The sound is also pretty muted as is the ear piece. Phone convo sounds a bit 'papery', understandable, seeing as the case completely encapsulates the phone. To remove the phone from that case requires that you use a dime or penny to wedge along the seam around your device, using a prying action. I've decided on using another case for day to day, but am keeping this one for camping/beach trips for the added water resistance. I did find the main camera image quality unaffected (They use a crystal or glass insert for the main camera cover) but the film on the self facing camera reduces image qualities, thus making my awful selfies that much more awful. It's expensive, but seems to be a bit better design than the alternatives i looked at in this price range. I've been reading about other who've gotten water damage using this brands cases, so buy beware and do your own research in this dept.

Did not fit well product just did not work well at all

Lifeproof fre case for iphone 6 was a hyped up choice for me. I heard a lot of good things about it so I decided why not. It passed the water test suggested before putting on the phone, no moisture, but then no one could hear me on a phone call. Well that sucked. Very muffled, and had to speak directly into the mic in order for others to hear me. As in I couldn't hold it up to my ear like a normal phone. Had to hold it flat. I took it back. Other than people not hearing me I guess it would be useful.

Picked this up a couple of days ago and went to the pool yesterday. The ability to take pics and vids underwater is worth the price of this case alone. I had no fear after I saw how this case performed. Having small kids, it's nice to know that if they drop my iPhone or spill anything on it that it is safe just knowing that when I finally sell this phone to get another iPhone that it will be in pristine condition. So far I recommend this product. The only con I have is that there seems to be some small abrasions on the sides after using it at the pool. It really isn't a big deal to me. But I did notice it.

Completely seals and protects the iPhone 6. Used another brand while waiting for the lifeproof product to release (had to switch out to the lifeproof as soon as it was available). Lifeproof branded products are always the 1st cases I will choose to protect my products. Can't beat 100% coverage and peace of mind that the iPhone will be protected from dust, mud, water, etc!

I bought this online because it seemed like a good price from a reputable retailer. When the case arrived it looked like it had a chalk residue on it and it came off when I washed it off but the case stayed more matte and less black then other life proof cases. It passed the water proof test so I kept it and used it when I swam with the manatees in Florida and it worked great. Although later when I took the headphone cover off, it broke off from the phone so I brought it to the local Best Buy store. An employee grabbed me one from the store floor and then told me that it would be a $30 difference since the same case in stores was $80 and the one I bought online was $50. After explaining that I was exchanging it because it was defective she decided to match the prIce and give it to me but it was clear that this was an exception and not what they typically would do. When opening the case from the store I instantly could tell this case was higher quality, from the material to the way the case matched up when you put it on the phone it was much better. There were even some differences such as the colors of the headphone cover, even though both online and Instore,the case had the same packaging but the descriptions on the box were a little different. There is a reason full price the life proof case costs $80 And your case will not look as good if you buy the $50 one. Although if you don't mind having small issues such as the case being not as visually appealing and having parts not stay as intact then this case is fine if you want to save money because it did remain water proof for me. Tip: If you notice problems right away after purchasing it ( a few days) bring it to Best Buy with your receipt and try to have them exchange it you may have luck as I did.

First time Lifeproof owner and I'm pretty disappointed for an $80 case Pros: 1: Nice looking case, and for an impact resistant case it is really slim and light weight. 2: Buttons seem to work very well, even my silent toggle switch works as good as without the case on. 3: Supreme protection for the charge port and headphone jack. And the lanyard that keeps the headphone plug attached is great. Cons: 1: Oil slick/Newton rings on the screen. I've tried all the tricks and can not seem to loose this oil slick look to the screen. 2: Charging port size. Apple cord works just fine, none of my other power cords including my Apple brand/approved car charger work with this case. 3: Charging port door. After only 8 days of use, the once solid "Click" of the door closing has gone and I constantly find my charging door open when I remove it from my pocket or laptop case. 4: Fingerprint scanning - Horrible. No way around it. I constantly have air bubbles under the plastic that covers the finger print scanner. The plastic is slightly sticky and tends to pull itself back up after you scan your finger. So even resetting your finger print with the air bubbles is only a temporary solution to getting your scanner to work reliably. Overall for an $80 case, there is too many quirks to deal with and I will be returning it.

Bought for my son after he dropped phone in water and had to get another phone. Checked it in water before putting it on. Works great. Very slim design too!

Perfect protection for iPhone 6! Have a 2 yr old, and never worry about her handling the phone! Water proof, dirt and dust proof! Little kid proof!

The life proof case is the best on the market. It provides amazing protection and the version for the iPhone 6 is thinner which I love!

I had this case for a few weeks now and the plastic screen covering the camera broke. I did take it back and got it exchanged for another one, great service by Best Buy on this. My first impressions on this case was its slim design and nice feel when in hand, but I did feel like less TLC was used creating this case.The previous Life Proof for the IPhone 5's, felt like nothing could get in the case, the seal was super tight and it was a little bulkier. The IPhone 6' case is easily opened with your hands!!Not sure this is a good thing, and if I remember correctly it took some effort to open the one for our IPhone 5's. I think Life Proof is coming out with another model soon for the IPhone 6 and I hope it meets our expectation. Overall, this case is decent considering it is a Life Proof case I expected it to have a tighter seal and feel like nothing can get in the case, but the slim design was nice. I have returned this case and purchased the Otter Box Defender. I'll be waiting till the new model comes out and give that one a test run.

I just bought this case and I've already had to go in and clean the screen twice. Yes, the phone is good for protecting the phone. But the silence/ringer button is hard to handle. It just doesn't work very well and the ringer on my phone, you can bearly hear. For an $80 case, I expected more.

Had I known the issues I would have to deal with, I never would have purchased this case. It only fits a STANDARD apple charger, making my car chargers and all others unusable. A week after having this on my phone I noticed what looked like a seem under the home button that looks like it's going to break any day. it has caused to some of the rubbery material to now flake off. All this annoying, but the main reason I bought the case still functional. NOW there is a rip in the rubber on the ringer/silence switch exposing the phone. It's only a matter of time now before that piece breaks off all together. And I've had the case for 3 MONTHS!!!! I'm not even hard on it. The warranty is not an option since I didn't save the box it came in (who saves garbage). This was SO expensive and a total waste of money. It only is getting 3 stars because so far it keeps my phone clean and dry (for now).

Great styling, water proof, drop proof protection. Finger print reader works better than the one on the OtterBox Defender. Only issue that I have is that the Apple® - Lightning Digital A/V Adapter cable for HDMI does not fit through the Ligtning port access cover opening. You have to take the case apart to plug it in. This is a wonderful iPhone 6 case, I trust it with every drop 100% I don't know if I trust it submerging it in water yet but I did test it and it pasted. The only bad thing about this case is the screen protector, but I like this case so much I can forget about that. If you need a case for your iPhone 6 get a LifeProof .

Bought this for my honeymoon. Used it to take pics n videos underwater n out on the boat. Worked fine for that. But the sound is horrible. And cant hear well w it on. Can't use speaker phone either. Good for water proof but not as an everyday case.

This was my first lifeproof for my iphone 6, I've had one before but I just love them so I always buy one each time I get a new iphone. I love how I can get out of the pool or ocean and just grab my phone without getting water damage! Note that I don't actually take my whole phone under water though. Only downside is that the white case gets super dirty but that's as expected. I highly recommend!

Its a good waterproof case if that is what you are looking for. A bit too bulky for me
