I got this case for the protection and it does that but otherwise it's absolutely worthless. I can only use the apple charger which means all other chargers are out of the question and the worst part is it won't work with any of the apple accessories like the 30-pin to lightning adapter, hdmi to lightning etc. I've had enough of this case and went out and bought the otterbox defender case. Not waterproof but it will allow some water on it and it works with most chargers. Until LifeProof comes out with an adapter for this case, it will stay in a drawer.

I like red and bought it for the color. But it is sort of a cheap looking red. I actually had a couple of people separately tease me about my Mickey Mouse looking case within the first week I owned my iPhone6. The second person referred to my "Target phone". That was it. I took it back.

This case used to be okay. Until the vibrate/ring button stopped working. After trials and tribulations thinking it was my phone we finally came to conclusion that it was the case itself that would not allow me to switch my phone to vibrate. Soooo... If you don't mind your phone going off in an important meeting, funeral, or wedding go right ahead and make this purchase, but if you don't want to worry about disrupting events I'd steer away from this product until they revamp the design. Thankfully, I've heard lifeproof is good about if you have issues with their products. Hopefully, they will be when I call in.... Also, for those of you thinking it's your phone that's messed up it isn't! I've had this discussion with about 5 others also struggling with this issue on this model.

I don't write many negative reviews but this case has a major design flaw that renders the waterproof design useless if it failes. This flaw meant my phone got ruined. Waterproof doors should always have a secondary locking mechanism to prevent accidental opening when being used in the water. At some point, despite periodic checks by me, the door came open in my pocket and water got in and killed my phone. It was never even submerged for longer than a minute but it is completely dead now. I should have recognized this before trusting the case with my phone, but I trusted the design and the claims of waterproofing to mean the door would stay put. An expensive lesson. A simple change to the door to incorporate a sliding lock to prevent the door from being caught by a pocket lining or anything else and coming open would prevent this from happening. It is extremely disappointing that after going through all of the waterproofing checks outlined in the manual and feeling confident in the case to keep my phone protected during some brief use in water that it failed and as a result my phone was destroyed. Other than that the case is fine, I found the screen cover to decrease accuracy and responsiveness somewhat but not enough to to make the phone unuseable.

The Lifeproof case is perfect for my iPhone 6. I have dropped it many times and it is worth the price.

I haven't used this case yet, but I've had one for my iPhone 4 and another for my iPhone 4s. Love em!!

I loved it for about 20 minutes. Does anyone only have 1 charger in their life? I wish!! II can't charge my iPhone 6 (with this case on) using my griffin lightening car charger nor my insignia 10ft lightening charger cord. I can only use an Apple lightening charger (with the case on). I have tons of Apple products but I am drawing the line with this. I can now say I have officially tried Lifeproof and am now Foolproof for the future. I have already ordered my customized Griifen Technology Survivor case, that I know works with my various branded chargers (at half the price I might add).

My girlfriend always destroys her phone by dropping it and etc. But the product keeps it safe and in great condition.

I had my first case for 15 days when I exchanged it for a new one because the volume switch wasn't working all the time. I exchanged it and the new case had the same problem so within my 15 day exchange time frame I took it in and again got a new case... I just got home, put the case on and the switch doesn't work on that case either! The iPhone 6 has a smaller volume switch than the case which makes it difficult for it to turn on and off properly. However, the case is wonderful but this is a key feature on my iPhone I use 24/7 and will not continue using a case if it's not working properly. LifeProof just lost a loyal customer!!

This case is really, really nice. The phone looks great in it.

Had to call life proof in 11 months for a replacement. Home button cover came off after a few months. The switch for volume doesn't fit correctly on this model- much better on the newer model. You have to get it seated just right and it comes out of the slot easily. Most poser cords don't fit right and the space is so small it's hard to get the power cord out. Good thing they offer a warrenty and easy replacement within a year.

I just got back from Jamaica, where I used my case for the first time. It was great being in the ocean and swimming pool and not worrying about my phone getting wet. Purchasing this case was well worth it!

I bought this case a few months ago and it wasn't closing properly at the top. I liked how thin the edges were and it made it a lot easier to type compared to the otterbox so I exchanged it for another one. I had the second case for about a week and noticed the same issues with the gap at the top and a shiny film underneath the screen. I never put it in water or use the phone out of the case. Not happy with this product at all.

I bought my lifeproof last week and it was a complete waste of money. I dropped it in my driveway from WAY under 6.5 feet and it shattered. to the point where there are shattered pieces of glass inside the case and I crunch when I type. never buying another lifeproof. EVER. they lie about their quality and especially for such a pricey item.

not very protective, collects dust on the inside and out side, dust over camera, ruins quality of artsy pics! real disappointed but overall pretty good definiteley should buy!

Seriously disappointing experience, purchased a brand new iPhone 6, 64 GB on January 30th of 2015 and was also sold a life proof case, the case was tested empty and was water proof at that time. On August 28th 2015 my phone had its first encounter with water and the phone was unsalvageable due to a breakdown in their adhesive around the home button. Today I called life proof to advise of the manufacturing defect and was told that this happens with lots of their cases, and the CSR reiterated that this "happens all the time". If they are aware of the defect in their product why are they still advertising them as life proof? And water proof? Why not use a better adhesive/seal? Seriously the worst customer service, not even a word of sympathy or any word of confidence in their product. Hard to believe that this is an Otter product, I've used Otter products for years and their customer service used to be phenomenal. I would have at the very least expected a statement like "our cases are usually good, let us prove it to you" but nope I was told that this is typical with no remorse for a defective product. Buyer beware with this product they are not often reliable by there own representatives admission. Very disappointing as this could have been a great product if a quality adhesive or seal was being used. Save your phones and your dollars!

The feel of this case is very cheap. The mute toggle broke within about a week, and the headphone plug broke off when I was taking the case off one day. Very disappointed by the quality of this case, I've always thought very highly of Lifeproof, but this case is not worth the money. Wait for the Nuud
