The hole below the case through the the power cord should pass is only big enough for codes built by apple. So, if you have an OEM code, it will not fit through. I bought several yellowknife lightning cords for all my apple gadgets in my family. I have a 5 fre' case which works with the yellowknife cords though.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before purchasing this case, and I will absolutely buy and recommend the life proof cases!

I followed EVERY step in the instruction guide. Day 5 in Cancun my case leaked while in the ocean. There was NO physical damage to the case prior to the water breach. Lost two days of photos, and remaining vacation days of taking photos. $80 for the case, and $87 for my Apple Care replacement. Very disappointed.

I tested the item on the beach (underwater for a few seconds) and I noted moisture inside. So glad I didn't put my iPhone yet. I tested under running water, and there was moisture again. I don't think I can trust this to protect my iPhone.

The 1st couple months the case chipped, it does not get hard use so was not abused. Tried 3 times a day for a month to reach customer service at Life Proof, calls are always dropped before getting to an agent.

It been a great phone cases. But sometime water stil gets under the cases when it gets wet from rain.

My Lifeproof case was for a 4s. Within 4 months the clear screen on the front cover cracked. After being put through the ringer, they sent the front cover only, not a complete case like I would have thought. After about 9 months, the rubber edges started coming off the front cover. Ahh, but the warranty started on the date of my original purchase; no credit for the 4 month newer front cover. At about year 2, I accidently took the phone into the pool in my swimming suit pocket (the deepest part of the pool was 4 ft.). Of course, it was for this very kind of scenario that I bought a LifeProof case. The case leaked like a sieve. Oh, by the way, the extravagant purchase price of a LifeProof case in no way covers the damage on your phone when the case leaks. In summation, instead of buying a LifeProof case, put your money toward a good insurance policy.

The water leaked inside and there was no way to save my iPhone

i've had this case for less than a year and its already fallen apart. the charge hole cover broke off, along with the earphone hole cover and a part of the inside. the rubber stuff covering the ringer and the on/off button broke too. if you're looking for a phone case that isn't waterproof, doesn't last, wears down screen sensitivity and renders headphones useless without an adapter, i would totally recommend this case. if you want a case that actually lasts, do not get the lifeproof case.

Life proof cases ARE NOT water proof. Over priced and they don't uphold the warranty.

The port covers fall apart in months and the maker does not uphold the warranty. I would never waste my money on this junk again and advise against anyone else doing so!
