For the life of me, I can’t get rid of the little rainbow spots from the meeting of the screen and case, but I’ve had that problem with every other case ever. The charging port cover is verrrry secure. I don’t have nails, so it’s difficult to open, and I actually use a small screwdriver to open it, but I prefer that because of the waterproof rating.

Unacceptable all the way around

I typically go with the Otterbox case but they did not have one with a screen protector for the iPhone 11. When I put the case on everything appeared to be up to par. I did not use my phone again for a couple of hours and then immediately when I actually touched the screen I noticed what looked like grease marks on the screen even though the phone and case had been cleaned and dried thoroughly. I then read some reviews that stated this is a common problem caused by the external screen protector sticking to the screen of the phone. It was suggested to use baby powder or a glare resistant screen protector. I tried both solutions to no avail. The customer support for LifeProof is nonexistent at best. Firstly they have a 4 hour window that they supposedly have a live chat option, however I have yet to reach an actual person. It appears that their entire customer support strategy is robots. I then sent an email and was told to submit a warranty claim and then pay $6.99 for shipping on top of the price I already paid for this overpriced case. I wish that I hadn't gotten rid of the packaging before I noticed the grease marks because I would have just returned the case. I will never buy another LifeProof case.
