I had an otter box with my last phone & was HAPPY with it. This time, I wanted to try something new to go with a new phone. I did the "waterproof check" suggested in the instructions, check. Put my phone in & snapped it up tight. SO FAR...so good. I threw it in a kiddie pool, take showers with music playing & all good. The ONLY con I have to say is the screen protector. Its not designed to be like attach screen protectors which is good, but it makes the phone look like it has bubbles. It would have been nice if the screen protector did a little better job of covering the screen so there weren't as many bubbles (kind of ruins the aesthetics of it all) I havent had any big drops with the phone yet (Like I had with my otterbox) so I cant speak to the protection part.

I considered getting this for another phone but when I upgraded to the S8+ I knew I needed this case to protect it. Very satisfied with the purchase. Couple of weeks before I got rained on in a hiking trail ive gone to. I must protect my equipment and this is a excelent choice.

The first lifeproof case I bought I had to return (volume button stopped working), got another one to try and protect my s8 plus that I couldn't find a decent screen protector for. The second lifeproof case is great. Have it on my phone with a invisi shield and it still works fine. Slim case, not sure why this case costs so much but I feel that my phone is safe so all in all, nice case.

Got a great deal - 50% off - for an ugly shade of purple but its not about the aesthetics its about the protection - and that it does. Dropped it in the spa tub and panicked - until I fished it out. No leak. I've dropped it, dropped then kicked it, dropped then stepped on it then kicked it - sometimes for fun. You just dont have to worry when your phone is in this case. There is a small bulk and weight penalty but worth it. I also thought the screen would be less responsive or harder to swipe but I havent had any issues. You do lose a little brightness or contrast in direct sun but nothing too awful. This is the best insurance policy you can buy for your phone.

Reasons I am giving this case 4 stars are: I wish the backing of the case would be made out of a material similar to the Otter Box defender series outer shell (rubber-like material), in order to help prevent the phone from slipping out of your hand so easy. Also, there seems to be an issue with not being able to adjust the phone's volume utilizing the external volume button with the case over the phone; it seems there is some sort of alignment issue with the case's volume button in relation to that of the phone. One thing I really do appreciate about this case is that, although it is a tight fit, the case seems to fit in conjunction with a glass screen cover over the phone with the sensitivity of the touch screen not really being affected.

I always had otter box cases but due to the curved screen of the s8 i chose to go with a lifeproof because it fits the curved screen better. It keeps dust and dirt out because the screen and case are all one versus a case and a glass screen protector which lets dirt in. I knocked one star off because the screen protection seems a little less than an otterbox with the tampered glass but luckily i havent dropped mine on the screen to test that theory. Case is definately much more sleek than an otterbox

I bought a lifeproof case for my already waterproof phone, i know, crazy right! But it was for double protection mostly, dont wanna pay $800 for a phone that maybe wont work in water. Didnt want to take any chaces!

All the case needs is a clip for my belt. I know I can order one on line but if Best buy sells the case come on let them sell the clip too.

Love, love , love this case. I had a case before that was very good, but it was bulky and heavy. This case is slim and has a nice weight to it. I dropped my phone several times and the phone was fine. You won't be disappointed!

I purchased this life case and I am pleased wit it. It’s thin and easy to hold it was easy to put my phone into and with the key that is included makes it easy to take apart.

I owned a Lifeproof case on my previous phone. After seeing first hand of the protection provided- forgot my phone on the roof of my car and when I got to highway speed- it flew off and was hit by the car behind me. The case was destroyed, but the phone was nearly unharmed! no scratches on screen just a little road rash on back plate. I am now a Lifeproof only owner for my cell phones! Current one fits nicely- not bulky at all. light weight- nicely manufactured!

This is by far the best cell phone case on the market. Nice, tactile feel to the case gives me confidence as I hold it. It is waterproof for sure and really protects my S8!

I'm a big fan of the lifeproof cases. I work in a big factory and have dropped my phone many times from 4 to 6 feet into concrete without a single crack. I started buying lifeproof before cell phones were waterproof and now i just find that complete waterproofness an extra level of protection. I had a little issue with the fit of the s8 case, the heat of the battery or wireless charging warped the back of the case a little but not enough to hinder the wireless charging or cause any other issues but I'm knocking 1 star off for that. I've since purchased an s10 and the lifeproof case for that (out of stock at best buy when i purchased my phone, bought it elsewhere) and i haven't had any issues with it at all (and yes I've dropped it a few times.).

This product protects my daughter’s phone great. It’s slim and fits tightly over the phone. We also like the fact that there is a front screen cover to provide protection.

I purchased this fireproof case over otter box based on the total coverage of my galaxy s8+. This case is very thin, light, and easy to use with touch screen functions.

It protects my phone perfectly but the built in screen protector does not sit against the screen. Whenever you touch the screen you feel the plastic first. However, the cover still allows for light touch to activate the touch sensor of the screen. It can be weird at first. The case also muffles the speakers a bit so you will need to open the charging port for better sound.

I got this for the type of work I do. This case fits the phone well not too bulky and holds up ok in the mechanic world

This case is awesome for daily use. It's not too big and not too small. Fits in pockets still while protecting.
