The phone is not held firmly forward enough, so it takes two hands to activate the buttons. It looks to be waterproof as advertised. At this point its worthless.

Dropped phone and screen destroyed, had to have a very costly repair not covered by the LifeProof warranty which really doesn't cover anything but the case itself.

Really great but not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the case a lot as far as feel in the hand, and keeping the phone somewhat compact while still being protected from most drops. I do wish the finish on the back was more grippy, as it feels like some time it will fly out of my hand if I take my phone out of my pocket too quickly. There is a tiny amount of travel between the built in screen protector and the actual screen, but I don't notice it 90% of the time; only when playing games. Oddly enough typing a text or email gives me no issues. It's only during games that I miss screen presses because of the tiny gap between them. The flap covering the charging port is not an issue for me like some other reviews I've read. The cover for the headphone jack IS very annoying though, in that 1) I have to unscrew it every time I get in my car 2) The high end Aux cable I use won't fit in the cut-out without using the Lifeproof supplied extension. That aux extension has to be screwed in to retain the waterproof rating, so every time I want to play music in my car, I have to unscrew the cover cap, screw in the extension, and then plug in my aux cable. Also the fact that the case covers the phone's speaker means you have to get the volume up to 33% or higher to hear anything at all and everything is muffled. I did start to notice that when the phone is flat on a hard surface the case itself kind of acts as a passive radiator for audio, kind of making it sound like everything is coming from the screen itself. Minor annoyances aside, this is a great case I will undoubtedly keep this for the life of my phone.

Rainbow and screen gap are immensely irritating..

Don't waste your money

The up and down buttons wear over time to eventually not work or be useable at all. Had to get rid of the case in order to be able to use my volume buttons on my phone. Best Buy would not refund anything due to their 15 day return policy. I am not happy about Best Buy's TOO short return policy at all and will think twice before purchasing from Best Buy due to this return policy.
