In our case, not so much. The flap covering the charging port is not as much of an issue as the cover for the headphone jack; it is extremely annoying to have to unscrew it every time I want to use my headphones. The case covers the phone's speaker so everything sounds muffled, I have not been able to place my phone on speaker phone. very disappointed to say the least

Thanks for your feedback! We are sorry that this FRE case is giving you some unusual audio trouble and that you are not a fan of the headphone jack cover. That cover is necessary to keep that area waterproof.
Sometimes if the case is not installed correctly the sound may be a bit muffled. Below is a link that will take you to a video that goes over the best way to install this product.

Last time, I couldn't hear very well through the case. This one doesn't have that problem at all! I just wish there were more color choices. Everyone has a black case and so I have to check 3x to make sure I have my phone
