Waste of money

My husband had one in his iphone4 and it held up pretty well, but when he gave the phone to me the case was destroyed within a month because I use the volume on/off switch on the side multiple times a day (he never used that switch) & the case couldn't handle it. We figured that I must just be hard on my phone, so when he got his iPhone7 he got another Lifeproof case for himself. Within a WEEK, the same on/off volume switch on the side was cracking off. They need to change the design! Luckily Best Buy let him exchange for a new case, but we haven't put it on yet. (Sadly I don't have a photo to share of the cracked button on the case. Didn't think of it before returning, but it probably would have been helpful)

Phone got hit on screen by a golfball that had just been tossed and screen shattered. Given the impression that Lifeproof would replace a device if it was damaged while in their case, but IT IS NOT!

Not the nicest looking but it's protective

Now in terms of functionality it's good. I hear the callers well, they hear me, I don't have a problem with the fingerprint recognition on the iPhone either. It's good.

Case was broken

It got delivered earlier than it was supposed to which was also great. But it was broken and wouldn’t snap together. I brought it to my nearest Best Buy to exchange it for a new one, and they charged me $70 for a new case because they didn’t have the same color as the previous one! It was the exact same case just different color. I’ve never had a problem with Best Buy products until this purchase and it’s making me rethink about where I spend my money.
