The bottom part that makes the phone waterproof is already broken after falling off my kid's bed to the floor. Worthless now and of course he threw away the packaging when it arrived so I'm stuck with it. I gave this 2 stars only because my daughter has one I bought a year ago and no issues and has dropped it on concrete from a much higher distance several times but her's is for ipone 6...maybe the quality is different now.

As long as the iPhone 7 is unharmed all is well as we can easily replace this damaged case through our warranty, no packaging required.

Bringing it back for an explanation???? Not a fan of IPhone products to begin with. This just reinforces my feelings about products that have created a whole industry to repair their poorly designed and built phones. Shattered displays and charging ports that stop working.

Two months later, the piece that protects the port for the charger is broken and I have to pay shipping to get a replacement. I need a waterproof case for times that I'm on the water, which is often, but this Lifeproof is not waterproof . Next time I'll just buy a much less expensive case and tuck it into my waterproof bag.

It covers the speakers both top and bottom. It reduces the clarity in the screen because the clear plastic is very thick and gets easily dirty.
