I have to use up/down toggle, which is difficult in itself, to regulate volume on phone. Had to return original b/c "charger" cover would not close. I had same case for iPhone 5S and had no problem.

Once dropped it does protect my phone well so that's a plus. But not really worth the money. Cases are all over priced. Only other issue is speaker phone is harder to hear and music from phone because of case.

I can say I have had many Lifeproof cases in the past, and always had issues hearing people when they called - but they have definitely gotten that fixed with this case. Can hear callers and ringer with no issues.
