I hate not having my phone on my hip. The clip is great once you get it in place, at times it's like putting a square in a round hole, side affect is your screen is not protected. I cracked my life proof case screen protector because it faces out.

I have always been a lifeproof fan but I think they missed the mark on this one. This is the only holster available for the iPhone 6+ and I don't like it. First is that it is difficult to get in and out of the holster. Second the phone screen can only face outward. I do not like the fact that the screen is unprotected if you bump into something.

No issues with it other than it makes my phone face outward giving less screen protection.

The product works only reason it's a 4 instead of 5 is I don't like the fact that it holds the phone with the screen unprotected

    Different, Not Great

After dropping my phone into a pool (which of course destroyed it), I converted to the LifeProof case from the OtterBox Defender, which I had used on every phone over the last few years. The OtterBox comes with a custom-fitted belt clip for every OtterBox design, but LifeProof decided that a universal clip & connection system was better. LifeProof has had custom clips for iPhones, but only this universal system for Samsung devices. The clip requires a 1"x1" square be affixed to the backside of the case using 3M adhesive which seems prone to bubbles, reducing its adhesive surface area. You also are told to allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before using it. Fixing the phone to the belt clip is a challenge. Unlike OtterBox, where you could easily holster the phone by feel, this requires you to match up the 1x1 square with the plate on the belt clip with the exact geometry of the clip. This requires you to look down every time or otherwise you're fiddling with the thing to get it to line up. Also, there is little-to-no "positive feedback" that you have successfully clicked-in to the clip -- it's a very soft connection -- requiring you to tug at it to ensure it has clipped-in. To remove it, you rotate it 90 degrees and it pops out fairly quickly. Also, there is a thumb lock on the back of the clip to fully lock the device from rotating, thus being unlocked from the clip. The BIGGEST disappointment, however, is the fact that the design (with the connector glued to the back of the phone) results in the phone being holstered with the screen outward. My concern is that this will end up resulting in a damaged screen at some point. OtterBox always holstered the phone screen-side in. Time will tell. If it weren't for the waterproof capability of the LifeProof case, there is no way that I would support a design for a clip like this.
