Bought the case the day after my original iphone 6 was destroyed in a rain storm. Glad I had the insurance! I didn't get the case before the phone was ruined because prior life proof cases for my iphone 5 muffled the voice a little. But I was pleased this case seems to be a bit more "invisible" sound wise than the previous versions of the case.

Like it. The first one I had the charging door broke. Best buy replaced it new one works great.

its good however it really decreases the sound quality both ways from hearing and being heard.

Sound from microphone is reduced due to cover. Hard to hear on both sides of phone call.

great fit and feel. not bulky yet offers optimum protection.

Nice case just a little bit expensive for a phone case. Especially if you change phone's a lot

It's expensive but worth it. This is my daughter's second life proof case and loves them.

LIFEPROOF CASE REVIEW This would be a great case if all 4 of them that I bought would have worked to the expectation. I bought two at the apple store (gave as gifts) and two at best buy. I ended up returning the last one because just as all the others they ended up but not meeting the expectations. In all of the cases that I bought, the small door where you connect the charger, ended up breaking where it snaps shut. The small plastic part came off and at this point the case is no longer water proof. In addition, this case does not allow the volume of the speaker to be heard as Steve Jobs desinged iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus to be heard. The audio comes out muffled and it is very inconvenient to plug in your headphones as you have to use an additional extender little connector thing that always ends up missing (that was probably my fault). In addition, once the phone gets wet or moisture (being outdoors or around water) and you want to take a picture it is difficult to see throught the camera lens as the water drop will smear the thin plastic part and then the pictures wont come out clean even if you attempt to dry it. When you are in a call the volume is limited so I always ended up opening the little charger door and putting the caller on speaker- by the time I reach out for the 35mm extender, screw it in, attach my headphones and get to the call it would be a long time. I was disatisfied with this product, LifeProof needs to address these issues and then I would be happy. I have the same case for the iPad mini which proved to be useful untill the plastic for the headphone broke as a wear and tear took place and again rendered my device useless as it was not waterproof. I trully love the concept of the case and wish it would deliver on the promises. I also would contemplate give a chance if they had it for the iPad Pro 12.7" BEWARE: before buying this case as you have to first test with the dummy phone included to make sure is water proof (wait, isn't that what it advertises?)- read the fine print when it comes to life time guaranteed and they wont protect the investment of your phone. You have to jump through many hoops to get it and in terms of time and effort is not even worth it. Good luck if you plan to purchase this case and I hope it serves you better than what it served me as the one I could not return (over the 30 day limit) is sitting in a drawer all alone like Andy's toys in the movie Toy Story.

great case great protection easy to put on and take off

i liked the unit it was a great fit. Just was s little to big to use with my car mount.

I was impressed with the Lifeproof Fre on my iPhone 5. After 2 years, I had no issues except after dropping the phone umpteen times, I dented the screen protector. Lifeproof only offers the Nuud for the iPhone 6 plus, so I purchased it based on my previous experience. Big mistake! I removed a perfectly applied glass screen protector to install the Nuud. Unfortunately, I botched badly putting on the vinyl screen saver, so Ive been living with the bubbles and loose edges. The handsfree speaker sounds OK, but it's hard to hear with the phone up to the ear. Now after 3 weeks the charge door no longer latches. Since I'm past the BB 15-day return policy, I now have to deal with Lifeproof/Otter direct.

The case is nice but hard to hear out of when listening to someone.

Great case for IPhone 6 Plus. Good quality only issue is muffles voice while on phone

The charger port stop closing after a month but still protects my phone well.

This case is pricey but protects my IPhone 6+ nicely

Great for trip to the beach. Protects phone from sand and splashing water on boat.

this is my second life proof case and let me say that the quality with this case is just not the same, after waiting the long 7 months for the case I was disappointed by the life proof case! The case does not seal properly and the door for the charger broke after a week, I would not recommend this to family members

Great for using when going to the beach or to swimming.... Anywhere near water
