The bottom left corner of the case won't seal despite following instructions and retrying several times. The biggest flaw is the flap that covers the lightning cable port. The tabs that press into the case have both broken off, leaving the port completely exposed.

Of course, a slight degradation of sound can be expected when a speaker is covered in a case, but this impact should be minimal. Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker membrane on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first. Try and pay special attention to make sure the speakers on your phone are lining up correctly with the vents on the case. This will allow for a clear path of sound.
