The case is great. Completely waterproof. Could swim with your phone in hand, if you really wanted to. I use it outside in the rain and snow, without any problems. And the case has saved my screen from being spidered or the metal from cracking several times over. I've dropped my phone at least a dozen times, and it still looks almost brand new when out of the case. The case itself is bulky, although it's to be expected when you purchase a phone as big as the six plus. The black color is not as aesthetically pleasing as other cases may be, but it's far from the ugliest. You can't beat the warranty on the case. It is the real value you pay for. I put in a warranty claim for the charge port cover not staying closed (the weakest part of the case) and lifeproof sent me a replacement, no questions asked. If you have a rugged lifestyle, or small children who play with your phone all the time, then this case is perfect for protecting your investment.

I exchanged this twice & it still broke. Best Buy has a horrible return policy it was 15 days after purchase that it broke so I was left to call the company.

I bought this case when I bought my Brand new iPhone. Did the water test and everything but it sumbmerged in water and broke my phone. Don't buy this case

This is a great case for what it is and I have been able to bring this with me when I go hiking, white water rafting, etc.. without having to worry about my phone getting damaged, however the little latches on the door that closes off the charger port keeps breaking. This is the second time I have needed to get it replaced. Lifeproof does have an AMAZING warranty and will send you a replacement if this does happen, so even though this has happened to me twice already, they have made it extremely easy for this problem to be solved. I would give this case 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the charing port door.

Bought this to protect my daughters iPhone and within one month the bottom corner wouldn't latch.

For making us wait 6 months from the launch of the iPhone 6 Plus, I was expecting a little more improvement from LifeProof's cases. However, there are still flaws with this case that make it irritating when using. The Control Panel feature barely works when using the swiping up gesture due to the edge of the case being flush with the border of the screen. I have found the only success comes when placing fingertip just right and carefully swiping up. This makes a once simple task tedious and significantly more time consuming. When talking on the phone, there is still feedback and the person on the other end can hear themselves talking. When I am talking my voice sounds muffled on the other end unless the charging port plug is opened, effectively compromising the waterproof function. I understand this is largely due to the phone being completely enclosed. However, these issues make talking on the phone a complicated and annoying task and have been apparent since the iPhone 4/4S LifeProof cases. The charing port is even smaller on this case compared to the iPhone 5S nüüd series. LifeProof still does not offer a lighting dock adapter like they do for the 30-pin connection. As a result, third party cables will definitely not be compatible with this case at this moment. The only marginal improvements appear to be aesthetics. The plastic used on the back of the case is harder than previous generations, which should add a little more protection and durability. Definitely not worth the wait or $100.

This will definitely protect your phone, I've dropped mine several times and the case definitely saved it. It is a bit bulky and heavy, but if you weigh the consequences, I'd rather the bulk than wrecking my iPhone 6 Plus. I'm on my 3rd one since July, the door tab on the charging port breaks easily. I will say that LifeProof as a company is great, because they back their product and replace it if there's a problem. I'd give it 4 stars if not for the charging port issue.

Just an FYI, if you expect this case to not interfere with sound quality a little bit (via speakerphone or microphone or regular speaker), then this case is not for you. I am a young adult and have decent hearing, so the fact that it effects the sound doesn't bother me. If you are older and already have hearing issues, this is not the case for you. But this protects my phone and is overall a great buy. I used it in Colorado at the hot springs and around the rivers to take beautiful photos and I am pleased with the results! It was fun to see the look on my boyfriend's 10 year old brother's face when I stuck it under the faucet. LOVE IT!!!

I just bought the Lifeproof Nuud for my iPhone 6. By the time I got the cover on the phone, the back of the case already had a bunch of scratches on it. Since it's a clear back on the case it shows tons of scratches and looks terrible after just a few hours. I followed the instructions for putting on the screen protector that came with the Nuud and it was impossible to put it on without a bunch of bubbles under the screen protector. Although I like that the Lifeproof case is thinner than the Otter Box, I will be returning the Nuud tomorrow and will be buying an Otter Box which I have for my iPad Air 2 and love it.

The case has been great and stood up to a lot of the wear and tear I've put it through from dunking in ice cold rivers for pictures to falling out of my pocket and falling down an entire rock face. The only issue I have had is the charging port door clips have broken off just through normal opening and closing daily to charge my phone. I'm currently on my 3rd case due to the issue but LIfeproof has been absolutely incredible when it comes to giving me a replacement for just the shipping and handling and the customer service is phenomenal with little wait time on the phone to talk to an actual person. Would give a 5 star if it weren't for the charging port issue. I've tried numerous cases from a lot of different companies waterproof and not, yet still none can match the LIfeproof case due to its small form factor on such a big phone and how well it has held up through everything I put it through. If you do anything outdoors or just want the best insurance plan you can have for you EXPENSIVE phone, this is the case you need.

So at first I was excited about getting this case, Lifeproof right? What could go wrong? First off, on paper it's a very nice looking case, 4 Proofs, slim design, not flashy. Then all the issues of this case come to the surface. Disappoint #1 The screen protector is not attached to the case, it's a rub on screen protector...and the edges of the screen protector do not meet up to the inside edges of the case. The case is designed to waterproof it with the actual screen. The inside edges where the case is "open" has a rubber "gasket" for lack of a better term which essentially seals the case. Disappointment #2 Sound is muffled. I expect some level of sound degradation, however don't bother putting it on speakerphone which is completely unacceptable. Disappointment #3 There is some strange feedback when I'm talking on the phone, like a microphone when it's too close to a speaker...Didn't have an issue whenever the case was off, so I'm guessing somehow it's case related. Disappoint #4 Unless you use the included adapter, you CANNOT USE any 3.5mm headphones. The design of the case does not allow it. Case closed, literally. Other minor complaints. The thin plastic membrane covering touch id works when it wants to. When the phone rings and vibrates, the entire case rattles.

I had a LifeProof fre for my iPhone 5 and it was pretty good. Protected a lot and didn't add much bulk. Went into my local BBY store and saw it available for the 6+. I believe the 6+ only has a Nuud version and it is important to know the differences. Nuud does not cover the display, it maintains water sealing but is important to note (also - not a problem if you already have a screen protector installed). Some issues I noted were speaker volume has decreased and sounds a bit muffled and the fact that I had to shave down all my non Apple chargers to fit the Lightning port hole. DO NOT BUY IF YOU USE NON APPLE CABLES AND ARE UNWILLING TO TRIM THEM! It also happens that it doesn't say this anywhere on the box.

I have been waiting for a lifeproof case to come out since the iPhone 6 plus was released. For some reason it took six months for them to release one version of it. Because the safety of my phone is important I had an Otter box Defender up until last night. I saw a lifeproof at my local best buy finally, (Im told there are still supply shortages) so I grabbed it. After having it for only a day I am returning it. my problems with the case - You cannot effectively use Zagg screen protectors. This includes the 'glass' screen protectors. It just doesn't fit the case. Water proof claims will be ineffective. - The home button still has the same bad membrane for finger print ID. Although this works, In the past my phones membrane devolops holes in it from pressing down on the home button with your fingertip, which you have to do because... - The hole for the home button is too small. It feels awkward, and requires very small fingers to be used without digging your fingertip into the membrane. if you have any thumbnail at all it could damage the delicate membrane. - The case sits too far onto the screen. It is very difficult to swipe up to get the control system to pop up. It is possible, but I have found myself accidentally opening apps in my dock because the case just doesn't allow access to the very bottom of the screen. -The charge port. Going into this I knew that i wouldn't be able to use non apple chargers because lifeproof has never made the port large enough to fit anything besides apple chargers. For some reason with this case, I literally have to force the apple charger into the case, and pull very hard to remove it. When removing the charging cable, I also noticed my apple charging cord began to separate from the head of the charging cable because of the force required. - Lastly the cover for the charging port is very cheap. Others say it snaps off and i am far from surprised. it just feels like a cheap piece of plastic from a mechanical pencil. I can only hope they release a fre case and these issues are not present, but they have no plans to do so currently, so I will go back to my otter box.

For a lifeproof case, this isn't my favorite. It does what it says it does, but it feels cheaply made. I think they should improve the sturdyness of this case. Other than that, it is waterproof and dust proof. Still issues with the speakers though.

Love life proof cases since they came out but have gone some time without one. Finally got one for my iphone6+ today and the "screen protector" that it comes with did not stick to the screen and just fell off. Also the case doesn't seal all the way around, bottom right corner (as you're holding the phone) doesn't seal. Already need a new one, annoyed with this as well as not having the original built in screen protector. Still recommend this product due to prior use, durability, and overall style!

For a waterproof case this one is slim, easy to hold onto, unobtrusive and really does not appear to be particularly fragile - so those good things bump it up to two stars. I haven't checked to see how waterproof it is and I won't, because it's going back to BestBuy today. The first problem was only Apple OEM chargers will fit into the port provided in the case; well, I could deal with that were it not for the fact that I could not get ANY headphones/ear buds to work through the case. We tried 5 different ear buds, including Apple OEM and none of them worked. It seems that the plug just won't go in quite far enough no matter how hard I push. That was the deal breaker since I use my earbuds all the time hiking, biking and (I wish) boating. Another reviewer said that LifeProof is revising the design. We'll see.

First off there's only one charger that will work with these cases, the Apple USB sync cable. There's no warnings or information about this on box. It's impossible to put screen protector on without bubbles underneath. Lastly the sound quality with case is pathetic. It's hard to hear phone calls or other sounds.
