I'm glad I did. I've had no problems from the case and it works great. I've dropped it on pavement and in the water and my phone still works like new.

However with the case on, the sound is very distorted and people on the other end of the line have difficultly hearing. Not what I expected for a $100 case.

Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the microphone and speaker membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.
