great protetion for your telephone and for water and sand

This is, currently, the best case for the 5S if you're looking for durability, water resistance, and Touch ID use. It is less bulky than other such cases, but the camera lens ports gather dust quickly. Also, I found that with the case off Touch ID worked 99% of the time if my fingers were dry. With the case on, that success rate drops to about 66% because it's difficult to get your entire thumb/finger in position. I LOVE the headphone, screw in, adapter. It's very useful for exercising because if you happen to drop the phone, the headphones usually catch it. I'm sure there will be improvements and I look forward to them, but right now, this is the best you can buy.

Only negative is occassionally persons on the other end of phone conversation will comment my voice sounds muffled - which never happened until started using the LifeProof case. Considering I use the case on my boat and need moisture and drop protection - it's an annoyance I can live with.

I love this case because it doesn't have the built in screen, so I can actually touch my phone screen and it's still waterproof. I went swimming and everything and used it to take under water pictures, as long as it was only a couple feet so I didn't test the limits of how far down it is waterproof. highly recommend this case

The case seems to fit pretty well, but from day one when I put it on my phone it appears to be cracked going from top to bottom along the button on the front of the case. My mother and sister got their cases the same day as me, and theirs looks the same way. Did the case crack slightly when we put them on? Does this damage the integrity of the cases? If not, I wish there were instructions to tell you that this is not something to worry about. Also, dirt has gotten trapped in it and it looks unsightly. The white of the case is looking a little yellowish after a couple of months, and I think they could have chosen a nicer color than gray for the rubber border. I am hoping it protects my phone well, but I have not had any major incidents to help me judge that *knock on wood*

I initially purchased the life proof fre case. I found that I did not like the protective plastic over the screen as much. With the lifeproof nude case there is no cover over the screen and it provides just as much protection. It also has a clear plastic covering on the back of the case to display your phone for those that would like to see to see the actual back of your iphone. Geat protection and fairly lightweight compared to any competitor's case that provides as much protection. You also have the option of purchasing a belt clip for those of us that don't like to have their phones in your pocket.I have nothing but positive things to say about this case.

Bought this case because I wanted to be able to see the color of the back of my iphone. So far has served me pretty well. Only complaint was it only came with one sticker shield for the front of the screen. A little worried if something directly hits the screen it will crack.

water proof shock proof case great color and great fit

We returned the case. I hear how great they are and wanted to like it but it was difficult to put on, didn't fit with the screen protector and was just too bulky. We ended up with a much less expensive case that has a better drop height protection just missing the waterproof part.

This case does exactly what it says. I put my phone in a sink of water and it didn't hurt the phone. Love the fact that it's the actual screen that you touch and not some screen protector. But the bad now. Hearing the phone ring can be difficult sometimes as well as sound from games, movies, and ect. The finger print scanner is also a little hard to get used to. Some times it doesn't read you finger because the way the case is set up.

I cannot say enough great things about this case. It's is super solid and anything but bulky especially for being a waterproof case. It's worth every penny for the ease of use with the protection it provides. The only downside is the sound of the phone does take a hit. This is my first waterproof case so I didn't really know what to expect. I guess this would be part of keeping it protected it obviously would impact the quality of not only listening to music without headphones but also using the speaker when talking on the phone. When on the phone not using the speaker seems to be a lot clearer and the person on the other end can hear you better.

This case is very fufilling of it's claims. I took it to the beach, used it in the ocean water, threw it around in the pool, and have dropped it multiple times and it has protected my phone very very well! My only complaint is that it's VERY difficult to remove from the phone!

I am chronic iPhone screen breaker and finally decided that enough was enough and vegan looking for a "drop-proof" case. I thought all of the best cases that worked best to prevent the screens from breaking when dropped were all big bulky and ugly - and was relieved to discover how slim and effective the life proof case is.

Great case easy to use perfect to take pic in the pool

This is my 3rd Lifeproof case. I wouldn't choose another. I love that all my buttons still work but there's no worry at the pool. The kids have spilled on it and dropped it down the stairs and the case has kept the phone safe. I especially love that the screen is not under a plastic cover and the touchid still works.

The screen protector is almost too small. I like it, but screen protector needs to be larger to be sure and seal all sides. Since mine is not perfectly centered, I am certain it is not waterproof:( It truly takes a professional to line this thing up. Will not buy again!

I can take my phone anywhere worry free. The LifeProof case was especially great at the beach. It kept the water and sand out while freeing me to take pictures in the surf, listen to music, and stay in contact with friends I was meeting up with.

My daughter wanted this case for a mission trip. It was easy to test and install. The buttons all work and she still gets the touch and feel of the iPhone screen and not a plastic covering that becomes blurry. She was able to use it and share with young children without worrying. Definitely worth the investment.
