This would be the perfect case if they can figure out how to be used without blue tooth People can't hear you the case muffles the mic on phone

I bought this case strictly for vacations. My last trip (Cancun) I brought it with me to the beach, pool, and all the water activities we did. I had zero problems. I wouldn't recommend submerging the phone in ocean water just because of the force of waves and such, but I completely submerged it in the pool a few times and went water zip lining and had no problems. It's a little too bulky in my opinion for everyday use, but its perfect for adventures!

Reading some of the other reviews on other sites, I have to admit I was a little hesitant to purchase the case. However, knowing Lifeproof's stellar track record, I was willing to give it a shot. I went with the blue simply because they didn't have the black in stock at my Best Buy. A price match from Walmart later, I walked out with the case costing $40 less than it normally would. I was already feeling good about the purchase. The case goes on differently than other Lifeproof cases. Once I figured that out it was a snap (literally) to get it on. It feels great in the hand. So light and so thin. They did manage to make this case thinner than previous versions. I love the rounded edges and the new silent/ring lever is awesome. There are no more rubber pieces sticking out from the side of the phone like on other Lifeproof cases. Really helps the overall aesthetic look of it. The buttons are a little stiff, but that is the case with all new Lifeproof cases. Those fix themselves over time. Also love the new charger port door. A lot more secure and seems like it will hold up better in the long haul. The case feels good and looks even better. Highly reccomend it.

When the Nuud for iPhone 7 was released, I was excited to have my touchscreen back again, just like previous versions of the Nuud. At first glance and use, the new design is amazing and really accentuates the design of the phone. However, the downfall of this case is the sound quality. Every time the speakers are used, from playing music and podcasts to even the ringtones, the sound coming from the case is very distorted and tinny. The only way to alleviate this issue somewhat (it never really goes away) is to turn down the volume of the phone to the point where it is pointless to be playing anything at all. I've given the case a few days, but I can't get past this glaring design issue. I will be returning this case as soon as I can and I only hope that LifeProof can fix this flaw.

I was pretty excited to put my new iPhone7 in this baby. Felt good, looked good, love the bare screen....but then I played music, and talked on speaker phone...it all sounded like a bee trapped in a tin can. Tinny with a rattle/vibration at every volume. I think the hard polycarbonate backplate reverberates the sound through the entire case and the membranes protecting the speakers turn into little distorted sound ruiners. Hopefully I got a defect, because if this made it through R&D as is, someone needs to be fired.

I really wanted to like this case. I had the Fre, but had been waiting for the Nuud because I like not having a mediocre screen protector over the display. I got the Mermaid Teal, which is my favorite color, and the design is pretty good. There are rubber grips on the side, no issues with buttons, overall I was very happy and excited with the case. Until my phone rang. I had an incoming call from a friend, and after 5 seconds of conversation, I knew this case wasn't going to work out. Every other word my friend said caused the case to vibrate erratically, and every few 8-10 seconds my friend sounded like she was in a tunnel very, VERY, far away. I took the case off and reapplied it, thinking that would help. But after half a song and Youtube video, I determined that this would have to go back. I exchanged it for an Otterbox, which I'm satisfied with. The Fre didn't have the issues like this, and I was bummed that I had to return the Nuud, but the sound quality is just horrible. Not sure if I got a bad case, but I don't have time to possibly go back and forth to Best Buy hoping I get a good one. Lifeproof should have done a little more or better testing with this case, especially with how long it took to get released.

Great item for your iphone if you want to take pictures under water, follow the instructions from the manufacturer and have fun with Nem whaterproof device

People had trouble hearing me (Mic protection must be re-engineered) I rarely, if ever, use cases on my iPhones because they take away its elegant design plus I have a fantastic record of NOT damaging them, however, I bought this alongside my brand new 7 given the fact I was going to be at the Beach and at higher risks than usual. Five days later, my 7 drops from my short's pocket to the asphalt (facing down) and shattered my entire glass as if a hammer had hit it. NO loose rocks or anything. Just fresh flat asphalt. I was so disappointed at the alleged protection that I returned this item. Ironically enough, I have dropped my phone twice from the same height to tiled floor or concrete flooring without any cracks.

I bought this the night before my trip to hawaii so i would have a strong phone case (i live in the midwest) I didnt want any water damage to happen while i was away. The case has multiple flaws and i wont be back in time to return/exchange so i definetely regret this purchase. First, the case does not click entirely properly. Despite it being all the way on, if u push inwards from the sides they make a clicking sound and move. I will not be trusting my phone in water with this case. Also, the front camera is slighly covered by the blue plastic so that a faint cresent appears at the bottom whenever i use snapchat. Blue rubber is already darkening as well and ive had it less than a week. Rubber also has mark from being dropped once. Got an account just to review this. :/ $100 is not worth this quality

I normally purchase Otterbox, but decided to purchase a Lifeproof case for my (college age) daughter's new iPhone 7. The case was purchased on July 11, 2017. Today, August 25, 2017 the phone was dropped from her hand. It fell on the top right corner. The crack goes from the left top corner down to the bottom right and it has one super thin crack coming from the middle of the big one to the right side of her screen and a couple smaller ones on the bottom of the screen, but she can't really see them because the case is covering it. I've e-mailed the company, but am not holding my breath. Regretting spending $99 plus tax on this case; I should have made her get an Otterbox. I will update if and when I get a response.
