I've been a Lifeproof fan for years until now! This case has been so disappointing. First it took them 7 months to come out with it and then it's horrible. It breaks within the first week of owning, my charging port door does not latch. The sound is horrible both music and voice. It seems like once Otterbox procured Lifeproof, quality went out the door and so did the Apple product support! Here I am almost a month after purchasing this and I'm still stuck with a Lifeproof less piece of junk. All I get when I call Lifeproof is fake customer service and no results! I'm done with wasting my time and money! I suggest you do the same!

I purchased this case directly from Lifeproof and within three days of normal use the charging port broke and the rubber on the mute/volume slider also ripped. This product was on back order so I didn't get a replacement case for several weeks. Eventually, it came in and I used the new case. Within a week, the charging port once again broke. There's clearly a design flaw with this case. I was sent a new case by Lifeproof, but I'm done wasting my time with this case. The sound quality was terrible. People had difficulty hearing my while I was attempting to talk on the phone. I'm going to just sell the replacement case on eBay. For nearly $100 for this case, you'd expect higher quality.

Awesome case! lifesaving! You do not have to worry when your phone is in the case! It is great to use when traveling- waterproof, strike proof and fall proof. It is not to bulky like Otter case and fits easily in pocket of coat. For such protection very thin and durable !

My iPhonr 6 Plus is expensive and I need to protect it. I owned a Lifeproof for my iPhone 4 and it worked great. I don't like that it did not include a heavier screen protector but just a film that was applied after I secured the case on the iPhone. There is a film over the home button and the Touch ID works fine.

I bought this case as soon as my local store got them in stock. I've used a lifeproof nuud on my 5S for a year and loved everything about it unfortunately I can't say the same for the 6 plus version. This case has a major design flaw that being the two small black clips that keep the charge port closed. These clips are very week and broke on me after only 2 days of use! now my charge port wouldn't stay closed thus ruining the waterproof ability of the nuud. I already returned the case do yourself a favor and put your 100 bucks towards a better protective case for your 6 plus.

Great Idea, but poor design. Screen protector is just an included user applied screen protector. Watch for bubbles.... The case seals against the actual iphone screen to seal out water/dirt/etc. Without the user applied screen protector, it is your iphone screen against the elements. While the case may be waterproof, it is also almost sound proof. My contacts said it sounded like I was speaking through a pillow. So much so that they couldn't understand what I was saying. Until they fix the sound, which is the whole reason for having a phone. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I love the case so far! It's not too bulky, I mean what do you expect you have an iPhone 6 plus. The only thing that I didn't like is at times when I'm on a phone call the call echoes, so ppl have a hard time hearing me. Other than that I love it!

Im so dissapointed in this case: you can't hear anything, notifications, calls, or music. Headphones don't fit in the jack, it's difficult to type on, and my most disconcerting issue: it is NOT water proof! Water resistant, but definitely not proof! We did the water test and everything, even brought it back to Best Buy to have it properly put on by an associate, and it STILL gets leaks! And the case is impossible to take off in time to dry your phone off. If you just need it to protect from falls or splashes of water it's okay, but it's not what I wanted and certainly not worth 100 dollars. Will be returning tomorrow.

We have this case since September. We all know that Apple phones are awful with their screens. I called Lifeproof to replace my first case because the screen area the four corners were cracking up and also the cover that protects the charging port area was broken. The help was excellent and fast. I got the other case within a week and now I'm ready to go again. I dropped my phones couple of times before with the first case but nothing!!! The only thing is that is white case and turns nasty and dirty but the corners are worst because of the rubber. But I can't complaint.

So im honestly more upset at the fact that I ignored all the bad reviews and still decided to buy this case. The case to begin with is just an absolute failure from lifeproof. I have owned various other lifeproof products and still find it pretty confusing as to how this company could even comprehend releasing this case with so many flaws. To begin with the clear back cover comes pre scratched out of the box, I kid you not when I say I purchased it last night at bestbuy and today the charging port will not click into place. In addition I am now experiencing significantly less call sound quality and also an odd loud ringing noise during my calls. To confirm that it was not my phone I removed the case and ironically did not experience any loss in call sound quality nor did I hear any odd noises. Lifeproof PLEASE as a loyal customer, recall this product or at least launch an update to this case. I will sadly be returning this product as soon as I leave work.

I would have given this case 5 stars if the charging port cover was better designed. It does have a tendency to break. The speakerphone feature doesn't work that well (person on the other end has trouble hearing you). The case is awesome for drops, spills, snow and all "protection" aspects in which it was designed.

I bought this case to take pictures underwater, and it did work great for about a week. Then the clasps that hold the cover for the charger port broke seven days into having the case, luckily I still had my receipt and I changed it out at best buy for a brand new one. I decided to be extra careful with the cover this time, putting pressure on both the top and bottom sides of the phone near the latch to relieve the tension on the tiny plastic clasps that hold the piece in place making it water-tight when I opened it, and charging it as little as possible, but it only lasted a month and a little over a week, just barely out of the 30-day warranty period. So Basically I spent $100 ($99.99 plus tax actually) to rent two cases for a month and a half or now just have a really expensive shock-proof case, which are only about $20 for a good one. Not only did it actually break but it is hard to hear the other person on calls, they cannot hear you as easily, the edges of the screen are harder to reach because of the rubber seal around the screen edge blocks it, and to use headphone you have to keep track of the screw in extension. The bulk and the issues are not worth the hassle and now that it isn't water-tight i'm definitely going to go to a basic screen protector and a bumper case. Apparently not everyone has this issue but since I have gotten two defective units I am not even willing to try a third Nuud or even a Fre.

We get lifeproof cases for all our phones. Read the reviews about the charger door breaking yet still decided to buy it. Sure enough broke. Lifeproof replaced no problem. Next one lasted four days. Once again easy replacement. New one broke. They are great in replacing the faulty case but I'm tired of replacing the case especially when I need to use blue tooth on the phone because no one can understand me. Time to switch until the case is redesigned to last. :(

After paying $99.99 for this case because I have heard that Lifeproof will protect from nearly anything, I couldn't be MORE disappointed..... I have had issues with this case from the first day I bought it and tried to "give it a chance" but this thing SUCKS and it has cost me way more in headache and aggravation than its worth. For starters, the case makes it nearly impossible for people to hear me and for me to hear them. Even with the volume on the highest setting. What you do hear sounds like its in a tunnel. AND YES, I tried all of the solutions for sound issues that are listed on the website to no avail...... They obviously know there is an issue, they should be more proactive in resolving the problem. The connectors will not allow for anything other than the factory apple connector to be connected which means that I can't connect any of my other accessories without removing the case which defeats the purpose of having the case. In fact, I had so much trouble hearing someone the other day on the phone that I finally removed the case so I could have a normal conversation. Unfortunately, I dropped the phone while the case was removed and smashed the screen resulting a a $172.00 screen replacement. I would steer clear of this case until they make some serious revisions. HEY LIFEPROOF!! I WANT MY HUNDRED BUCKS BACK!!!!!

When I purchased my iPhone 6+ I went right to lifeproof's website and got on the waiting for this case. I loved my old lifeproof case for my iPhone 5 and figured the steep price tag was worth the added protection for my phone. I have small kids and needed something that would handle heavy wear and tear as well as offering protection from water for summer days around the pool. I was excited to finally get my case after months of waiting. Within the first week, the flap that seals the charger port from water became warped and would not shut basically rendering it useless. Figuring this was a fluke, I contacted the company and they sent out a new replacement case within a few weeks. Put the new case on and 2 months later the flap to the charger is warped and broken again. I can forgo the lost in volumn and ease of use on the earphone jacks because none of that matters if your phone gets dunked in water because water is still getting in. There goes your $100 Investment. What a huge disappointment this case turned out to be.

I had the otterbox armor for my iPhone 5. Quality was poor on that as far as cosmetic and leakage. Dust proof, water proof, no...drop proof...yes. Crush proof...didn't risk trying. Got the 6+ and just put the life proof case on....playing music, muffled....called a friend...he was muffled as well and he could not understand me one bit. Cosmetic quality on the life proof is a lot better than the otterbox but same problems with everything else. I am returning the case asap. Unfortunately until something is fixed with audio I will have to do with no waterproof case.

I have had LifeProof cases on all my phones and the 6+ case is horrible. 1. The charge door opens way too easily and is very fragile. 2. Sound is horrible. EVERY call I make the person on the other end cannot hear me, says I sound muffled, or complains. All of my other covers from lifeproof were great, and I do not know how they could have messed this one up so bad. Use the old 5 design for the 6- I am fine with a plastic screen if I can actually make calls. This is Junk- do not buy! If I could return it I would. LifeProof- if you are reading this stop making this cover. Oh, aftermarket chargers do not work with this case either. Not a big deal, but worth nothing if you plan on charging in your car or not use the oem charger.

I am completely frustrated with my LifeProof Nuud Iphone 6 case. First the case I initially bought for $90 began to come apart and while I was waiting a week to receive a new one my phone was dropped and the screen was broken. The directions from LifeProof were to remove my phone from the case until the new one came and thus a broken screen. Awesome. After putting my new case on (and paying $100 for a new screen) my phone was dropped in a parking lot, the case burst open and this time the screen and LCD was broken. Spent another $150 to replace that and now I am completely fed up with LifeProof and completely done with ANY of their products. The customer service person informed me that they cannot refund me or help pay to cover the cost of a new lcd/screen. The ONLY thing they can do is send me another useless case. If anyone at LifeProof checks these posts, thanks for creating the most incorrectly named product ever. Also there's audible feedback when I try to talk on calls. Sounds like a design issue...

I have had three of these cases and on every single one the little tabs that hold the charging port door closed will break off after a few weeks of normal use rendering the case no longer waterproof. The third case broke while I was two days from the car hiking the Appalachian Trail. I hiked in intermittent rain those last two days and had to use duct tape to keep the charging port sealed from the elements. I use my phone as my GPS, notebook and camera on the trail, and I need a phone case I can trust to protect it. Lifeproof will replace the case under warranty (again) for about a $5 fee (shipping), but that doesn't help me when I cannot depend on the case when I need it. This case is a fail. 3x so far for me. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.

I bought this case as soon as it came out. I was one of those suckers who put themselves on the waiting list and paid top dollar. From the first moment with this case on my 6+ i was disappointed. The tolerances were off so that it would not fit snugly on my phone. If the charging port was opened the case would pop apart. When trying to talk on the phone I could not hear the person on the other line and they could not hear me rendering the phone "useless". I called lifeproof customer service only to find out "these first cases were not really ready for the market and had flaws that had been corrected". So they were 5 months late to market and still had major issues. The rep told me there had been two new iterations since my case was manufactured. I bought a $30 Thule case and stay out of the rain...
