Essentially the fail safe approach to having this case is all smoke and mirrors. You might as well spend $10 on a case and take precautions. This case doesn't protect you any better than a standard case will. I found this out the hard way.

It is not what I expected. One of the corners keeps popping open and people have a very hard time hearing me. I ended up taking it off and will go back to Otterbox.

Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

The thing where the charging port is wont shut and the case won't either, don't buy one until they fix this issue. It's to much money to spend on something that is supposed to be "lifeproof" but breaks on its own.

Returned the first on because it broke after 11 days...same thing happened to the new one they gave me. Broke in the exact same place, this product is so cheaply made!!
