Although it said the product was previously tested, I tested it myself. My first test failed and the 'test phone' was soaking wet. As anyone would be, I was VERY skeptical. I decided to try it again and my test phone came back dry. I then put my own phone in the case and it has worked perfectly ever since. I use it in the pool, the ocean, the rain, any and everywhere! Compared to the first LifeProof case this one does not cover the actual iPhone case but it doesn't bother me. I don't care for all the finger prints but the screen protector it comes with is too hard to get on and the finger prints wipe off easily.

As far as protection goes, it's a great product! However, when the case is on the phone and you are in the middle of a call, it is extremely difficult for the other person to hear you unless you're on speaker.

My son left his new iphone on the trunk of a friend's car....the friend left with the phone. It hung on for a few miles before hitting the pavement. Good samaritan found the phone and contacted him. The corner of the case was cracked but the phone was perfect! Bought the same case to replace that one

This case is the best multi-environment case there is for the phone I have. No worries about protection. Worth every penny. In the event you do have to contact customer service, it is one of the best experiences you will ever have.

Lifeproof case is keeping my iPhone 5s safe from accidental falls and scratches. Protects against spills also. Only came in Black when I purchased it. Would have liked a brighter color so it would be easy to find in my purse or when it is sitting on furniture.

In this case really protects my phone well. I drop my phone quite often and to be honest I'm quite careless with it. This case is perfect for me. My one complaint is the headphone jack, however, I already knew the negatives regarding the Jack before I purchased so it does not affect my overall

This case is perfect for any and everyone! I have had it in the pool and yes it got wet but my phone didn't. I have dropped it numerous times and not a scratch. I also like how it has a separate screen protector now verse the other model that had the one attached and it started to come off.

I've had many iPhone cases over the years. This one isn't bulky like the otter box. It's relatively small, durable, and waterproof. I always hated screen protectors because you loose sensitivity of touch. The gasketing around the edges allowing for removal of a screen protector is an ingenious idea.

The life lock case is very easy to install. The packaging protected the case but was simple to remove without using a scissor. The direction and diagram were very helpful. After installation you can use all of the function of the phone while it protects the phone from water and collision damage.

I love this case, the ability to use my touch screen directly without a clear plastic cover in the way is awesome!! Still waterproof and already saved my phone from 3 different drops.

This case is super thin. It matches the thin line of the phone. It also is great for phone calls, the clarity is unmatched! It is super for texting! I love the thinness and clarity. I have had other phone cases and this is the best one yet! I also love that it is shock proof and water proof.

Bought two, this one for my younger cousin. She is a pool person. She is been using it for many weeks now. She gets in and out of the water and no problem so far. She likes the look because it lets you see the color of your Iphone (Gold in her case) inside. It is not bulky at all.

Always will depend on Life proof cases. They keep my electronics in brand new mint condition after I remove the case for a trade in. I always have the tech tell me they can't believe how well it kept the device despite the way the case looked (tattered).

Lime green was the only color in stock, wasn't sure my Son would like it, he loved it. Only complaint I have about the case is it tends to muffle sound a bit but to make it water resistant I guess thare's nothing to be done about it.

It's a pain in the behind to put it on, but once it's on, you take one look and know your phone will be fine. My only gripe is that there's no way to access the ringer/silencer slider bar but I suppose that can be worked around for most.

I purchased this to replace a Lifeproof Fre, which after a year had a crack at the connector portal and the plugs for the headphone jack portal are now lost. I like the Nuud better overall. The plug is attached, so less likely to be lost, and I prefer the direct contact with the iPhone's screen versus the Fre. Both Lifeproof's have proven to be waterproof on multi-day kayak trips, which is the main reason for my investment in a waterproof case. The downsides are the poor fit in the Lifeproof armband and the fact that the new iPhones will not fit. I guess I won't be upgrading my phone for at least a year.

I had this case for about a week and each time I tried to call people they couldn't hear me clearly on the other end. The case is so air tight in order to be waterproof that it blocked my voice from being heard on the other end. Good case but it prevented me from using my new ihpone 5s from being used for its main purpose...calling people. I went with a otter box instead since every style of lifeproof was design the same way.

This is my 2nd case, for the same phone and still looks like new. Only complain is when using the speaker, the other person allways ask where am I, if inside a bubble because of the voice quality. Other than that is great!

Everyone in my family has a Life Proof case on there phones and has saved our phones from the elements and my daughters constant drops. The one time my daughter broke the home button cover on her case Life proof delivered a brand new one in 2 days (no charge)

Only thing I dont like about this case, there is nothing covering the screen of my phone. It somes with a little plastic screen protector, but it isn't as waterproof. Great case as far as physical damage goes though!
