The phone was never submerged but water did get in the case and ruined the phone. Contacted the manufacturer because the case failed and they only offered to replace the case, not the phone that broke because of it. I will never buy their products again.

You have to read the small print you are not covered for water damage unless you register with 15 days of purchase and pay an additional monthly insurance fee. They pay to replace the case not your phone. Best Buy should stop carrying this product.

I put it on speaker and instantly knew that I had to take it back to the store.
