Most items have some inconveniences, but that is the way it is. Removing the case is a bit of a nuisance when you need to and involves using a coin to do so.

Easy to put onto the phone (the two formed pieces snap together tightly as you firmly snap them into place). Protects both the phone from water and dirt as it prevents breakage from an accidental drop of about 4 feet (might be more but I'm not going to test - at least not on purpose..). Comes in a variety of colors. Though expensive, I highly recommend it.

I take really good care of my stuff but within one week the corners looked like I had it for years. My suggestion is to get a dark color, not a light one like I did

The only thing I don't like is that the piece that screws in and out to open the headphone port can easily fall off when removing or putting on your case an easily lost and now the case is no longer waterproof.

We are really glad that the Nuud case is working out for the most part. Of course, a slight degradation of sound can be expected when a speaker is covered in a case, but this impact should be minimal.
Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.
