The case is still waterproof even without the screen, because there is a intricately built rubber seal that surrounds the phone screen to keep water out. Not Waterproof

I could not find anywhere that it said there was no plastic front covering, other than the description that said you could touch the actual phone screen. I doubt this could have protected the front of my phone from shattering upon impact, and it definitely was not waterproof. I returned it immediately.

True, the NÜÜD is one of our cases with screenless technology, which means that you can directly interact with your phone display while the device is protected from dirt, snow, drops, and even water. The case is made waterproof with a seal that presses around the device screen, keeping liquids away from the most important parts of the phone. However, we also recommend performing a water test on the case before submerging it, to ensure full waterproof protection. Typically, the NÜÜD will pass the test with flying colors and prove its protective abilities!
