When you're installing your LifeProof, we'd recommend first installing the front of the case, being sure to twist the mute dial a few times to ensure the mute switch is properly seated. Feels Great in Hand, Cracks Easily, Flimsy Port

However, I did not know I would grow to absolutely hate the LifeProof Next case. The volume controls hurt my fingers and are difficult to use but my phone looks brand new. I will NEVER buy another LifeProof Next case.

Not what I would expect. Disappointed.

The toggle switch piece isn’t even usable because it doesn’t line up to the top piece of the case. It’s barely raised past the screen so if you drop the phone it isn’t very protected. I don’t even get the point or covering the charge port when the phone isn’t enclosed. The entire front is open so it won’t protect against dust or dirt. I go to the beach a lot and always liked lifeproof cases because it kept my phone protected against sand. Well, this case definitely won’t do that. I can barely get it to snap on the one side due to the case not being aligned. Then I could barely get the case back off. This case will be going back.

Reason is since it is a water proof case it is sealed pretty good but because of this the iPhone is constantly heating up and causing the screen to dim. Also the plastic film that goes over the cameras scratches and smudges easily therefore the picture quality is terrible. Also speaker phone with this case does not work.
