It also had a scratch on the inside of the case. I’ll keep it for when I need a more rugged case, but it will not be my daily case.

We apologize that this SLΛM series isn't entirely meeting your expectations! Although we do our absolute best to keep our case designs as streamlined as possible, unfortunately, at a certain point it just isn't worth it to risk the safety of your device by eradicating protective layers on the unit. As for the mysterious scratch, while this cosmetic blemish shouldn't affect the overall security of the case, our friendly representatives will still be more than happy to set you up with a replacement.
