Lifx Multicolor Bulb

Great Smart-Light - Not so Great to Set Up

The instructions are simple but don't seem accurate. Lights do not work on 5ghz network, which took a while to figure out. ultimately, a factory reset was required for each bulb. Wish it worked better with HomeKit - You can use Lifx App with full functionality but if you want to use HK, you need to set your scenes in Lifx then copy them to HK and use w/ limited functionality.

Constantly losing connection (reported issue with MANY users) which is super awesome when you're getting your kids to bed and their lights won't shut off. Switching whole house over to Hue.

Great Bulb, but no HomeKit

LIFX mentioned they had plans to release a firmware update making this Bulb HomeKit compatible, I have seen nothing. The build was very very bright, great colors, although color was not quite as good as a hue. I can't personally recommend it, as I am a HomeKit guy.

LIFX Light

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's an LED light bulb that has built-in wifi that can change colors via the app. The bulb itself is constructed nicely, but the app really is what will give some people some hang-ups, especially for those using Android. If you're using android and have some issues, just close the app and re-open. The best alternative, if not better, than the Hue system.
