Still haven't received item bestbuy wont work with me on getting my item or money back

While the features are cool, having some of them digital only is annoying at Disney's price point.

it is so stupid and is nothing like Lion King and Lion King 1/2.

Not real 4k. 4 k wasnt even imagined when this came out

I bought the movie and when I opened it, it was broken along the spine and when I returned it to the store where purchased the store only had broken copies left in stock

Came shipped in a bag. No protection from the boxes that it was shipped with. Case was broken and plastic half off.

Movie was as expected, but the Blu-ray audio kept cutting out. Never had that issue before. Get Disney+ instead

Horrible. The product information printed right ont he front of the packaging states" For Blueray & DVD". However! This product will *not* play in my DVD Players: computer, nor standalone unit. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.

Normal story, I didn't like that kind of action, it's old story.

The Lion King is Awesome and its cool to watch with the family

I ended up triple dipping on this for the 4k upgrade as well as the steelbook and IMHO it's a very nice upgrade in quality. Being animated I don't believe the video is substantially better, however, with the utilization of HDR the definitely provided a much more color presentation. I highly recommend this, especially the 4k steelbook due to the cover art.

I got this as a gift and I couldn't be more exited,a timeless classic on a beautiful steelbook and 4k?,do I need to say more?

One of my favorite films as a child is now available in 1080p HD and is presented with 7.1 DTS-HD sound! If you have not seen The Lion King before, the story is about a small male cub who, destined to be king, runs away from home after a tragedy occurs, which he believes was caused by himself. He eventually grows up alongside two friends who "show him the ropes" as a child (cub). All is well until an unlikely reunion makes him realize that he has to return to his kingdom, which has almost turned into a barren wasteland during his absence. With his decision to return, he faces a challenge(s) in order to rightfully take his place as the destined and one-true king. Like most other Disney films, the movie is also somewhat of a musical [for the first half]. This set comes with two discs - the Blu-ray disc consisting of the feature film and special features, and a DVD copy consisting of the feature film and only one special feature from the Blu-ray disc. There is a good number of special features including never-before-seen deleted scenes/bloopers, a deleted song, an extended scene, a sing-along mode, an interactive Blu-ray gallery, and more. I really believe that there could have been a little more, even though all of the special features are presented in Blu-ray fashion. Yes, Blu-ray discs can hold a lot of content, but the better the presentation is when there is no loss in either visual nor audio quality due to "space cramming." It's not a 50-GB dual-layered disc, but I doubt all 25 GB were used here.

GREAT MOVIE and steelbook worth the money ALSO EFF THE LION KING 2019 THAT SUCKS!!!

4K is great. I highly recommend this. It’s such a wonderful movie.

Enjoyed this as a kid myself. Now watching it with my kid.

I love the Lion King and always have since I saw it when I was 6 years old. The plot, animation and music had captivated me from the very first scene when the sun is rising to the very end. The music sends chills down my spine from it absolute greatness. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants a change from what Disney is currently making. You won't regret it!!

I can't wait until this is available on Blu-Ray! It will look amazing and I have already seen some cut scenes in blu ray and looks astonishing! I have the vhs and dvd and I will be owning the blu ray too! It is my favorite Disney movie and this is still in my top 10 favorites movies of all time! If youre looking for something for the family just pick this up when it comes out! Disney never dissapoints! FYI they will be re releasing this in theaters again on September 16th!
