This a great movie and it looks even better in 4K.

Back from the vault, The Lion King returns in a new Signature Edition and it is as good as it ever was. The story, the characters, the music, and the animation make this one of the best animated films of all time. The Blu-ray A/V is amazing. Additionally, a “missing clouds” error from the Diamond Edition has been corrected on this release. This Signature Edition is light on bonus features on the disc, but redemption of the included digital copy through Disney Movies Anywhere (now Movies Anywhere) unlocks all of the bonus features from the previous Platinum Edition DVD and Diamond Edition Blu-ray releases. Another nice extra is the replica film frames included in the package. You just can’t wait to make this film a part of your collection!

I was hoping the steelbook art was just a temporary placeholder but upon receiving, I just can't help but utter "why???" But if you are a collector, I guess you should get it if you don't have the movie.

Good movie and decent price for a Disney movie and

After years past of when I last watched it I can say it's still good enough and funny. I think that the cartoon version, this one, is funnier than the new 2019 live adaption remake.

Do you like Action? Do you like Drama? Do you like Comedy? Do like family conflict that you thought only Lifetime Movie Network could provide? Well, look no further! If you haven't watched the Lion King yet, I suggest you crawl out of the rock you have been living under since 1994, buy a HUGE Tv & Blu-Ray Player, and pop in The Lion King. Let's bring back the intense Disney dramedy that tells the triumphant story of a boy who's father was murdered by his uncle for greed and inheritance, that will inevitably lead the boy on a path of perseverance, humility, and love. The only thing I would change about this product is they should be sold in a VHS design packaging.

I wanted to update the quality of the video that I owned from DVD to Blu-ray and this steel-book edition was great opportunity. I really enjoyed the movie. Had not seen it for years.

This movies has always been very special to me and many others as well. After seeing a blu-ray version, which I had yet to own at the time, that also included a 3d version, I couldn't resist picking it up. It's almost the end of 2016 and I purchased this back in 2012. I've watched both the 2d and 3d version many, MANY times since then and am still extremely glad that I have it. If you're a Lion King fan then I'll go as far to say that you should definitely add this to your collection if you haven't done so already. Or if you're a fan of well done animated movies and/or timeless classics then you'd definitely enjoy owning this as well.

I feel like this steel book came out in time to hype up the new movie, but I'm not complaining. It looks great on my shelf. This is just for big fans of the movie.
