Great movie for the family. Enjoyed sharing a movie with my children that I watched as a kid.

The Lion King is obviously a beloved classic, and I doubt I have to sell you on the movie itself. This particular release though, is gorgeous. I never saw the blu ray that preceded this "Signature Collection" version, so I don't know how this new one compares to the previous one, but it's definitely a big improvement over the DVD. Plenty of bonus features, some of which are new (at least to me), and the Best Buy Only steelbook looks great.

My kids watched this movie at least three times in the first 24 hours after receiving it.

This is one of the greatest Disney movies ever made and finally The Lion King has come to Blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD in the States. If you have not seen this movie believe me you are in for a real treat. The music is remarkable, voice acting incredible and an outstanding story about a young cub's journey to adulthood as he must take his rightful place as King. I would definitely recommend watching this film with the entire family.

Watched The Lion King with my children and now with my grandchildren. Also went to see The Lion King on Broadway. Disney movies are great family time. I would like to see Cinderella released from the vault. I really would have liked to purchase it but ended up buying the Cinderella gown and shoes. My granddaughter has worn it everyday since Christmas including Christmas Day.

Nice to have this on dvd! Had this movie on vhs, but this is much upgraded version!

This movie and other movies in the Disney library are the best movie purchases you can make! They are actually 3 products in one, a Blu-Ray, a DVD, and digital copies. The best part about the digital copy is that you can redeem it on Google Play, Amazon Prime, and iTunes, among other services. You can't go wrong with buying these movies. You can literally play them anywhere!

Classic film finally on 4k, looks amazing, and really nice art on the steelbook.

A lot of my friends say this is the best Disney animated movie. I'm pretty close to agreeing with them. There's just something special about this movie that has held for 3 decades. The animation, characters, and story are all great things about this movie. This is definitely a must-watch for Disney and animated-movie fans.

The Lion King is my favorite Disney movie of all time so with baited breath I wanted see the first minutes of this in it’s 4K glory, to just see how it looked. 90 minutes later, I realized I had watched the entire film. This steelbook is gorgeous and I have zero regrets about this purchase. Glad to have gotten a digital 4K copy along with this purchase as well.

The Lion King 4K steelbook has great art work on the cover. The animated film itself looks better than ever in 4K. Colors are bright and vibrant while the aspect ratio leaves no black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. The Dolby atmos soundtrack is immersive with crisp clear dialogue. If you don’t already own this on blu ray, it’s a must own on 4K!

The signature series has so many extras and bonus features that werent included in the last pressing, its absolutely worth getting. and of course being a steel book collector, its a great steel book, i think the last one may be a bit cooler in terms of the cover art and raised logo and everything, but this one is absolutely worth getting for the bonus features alone. incredible.

Love the original and look forward to the remake coming this summer.

This is a must for any Disney fan. To have it in 4K....well, overkill.

I'm more than happy with this box set. It comes with DVD, BluRay, and Digital versions. Really can go wrong there. It's packed with special features and deleted "scenes" (More like sketches but it's actually really cool how the whole process used to be). Overall a great addition to your collection. I will be buying more from this Walt Disney Signature Collection.
