One of Disney’s best selling movies and one of Broadway’s best selling shows... probably people like it. Like, a lot. (Ps. I was asked to review this, I don’t actually think it needs any more reviews). As far as Best Buy goes, great product, great service and an all around easy shopping experience as always. They are great.

Really easy process and everything went very smooth.

Definitely a Disney classic and an awesome movie, that’s a given tho. My kids love this movie and I have several copies but it was nice finally having a digital copy. Also, the included film strip scenes are really cool and not what I was thinking when I read the description.

I have seen both but only Bought them recently. The Live Action Movie is Very well done. I saw the Live Action film in the Theater and thoroughly enjoyed it. I probably saw the Animated Movie in the Theater also but don’t remember it. Glad to have both in my Library now.

Everytime Disney upgrades their movie, sure enough I'm one of those who rush and get a copy. This movie reminds me of my younger days and brings back good old memories. The transfer of this movie is great! Hopefully they'll going to release a 4K hdr in time for the live action version of the film.

This is a Disney classic that is a must have if you have a collection or of course kids. My oldest likes to argue that the Lion Guard (Disney Junior show) came first, so when this was released from the vault we had to scoop it up! The old generation will love a favorite and the new generation will gain a new one.

The Walt Disney Signature Collection version of The Lion King offers a beautiful picture and sound on Blu-Ray. Bonus features are a plus. Wish they kept all the bonus features they had in the previous releases. Despite they are missing, its not a deal breaker. The addition of the bonus film strip is a nice bonus.

Great movie, a classic....Normally animated movies dont need a 4K presentation since they were rendered in 2k originally, but this transfer does tick up the video on this movie especially if you have Dolby Vision or an HDR10 TV

Everyone knows this is a must own. Second steelbox version I've bought of it. I was not going to my gosh, how many times have I dipped on this one, let's see VHS, DVD, first bluray and now this, but one of the scenes was messed up on the previous bluray so I bit. Wish Disney would stop with the multi-dipping.

The movie is still fantastic. I picked up this version because I realized I didn't have an online version yet - I generally purchase movies now that have an online code. Also, the film clip that was in the case was of Pride Rock and the presentation of Simba. Not sure if there were other clips handed out.

My kids had this movie since they were little. We bought it on VHS. Now that DVD is here, we bought it again. The main reason is the quality of the picture. We do have an old VHS player, but why bother. This is a great family movie to begin with, so you can't go wrong. It doesn't matter how old you are.

This is one of the best Disney Animated films of all time, if not the best period. I recently bought a new 4K tv and although this movie is NOT 4K I was amazed how awesome this film looked. Saw things I never saw before, like the ink strokes. This is a no brainer if you don't own it already.

The Lion King is the GREATEST animated film ever!After all these years there has been no duplicate! And there probably never will be! Gorgeous picture quality!Sounds amazing!The Steelbook is BEAUTIFUL!Looks much better in person than it does online.Most definitely a collectors edition!

Aside from this being my favorite film of my childhood, to be able to own it on steelbook is an added bonus! Good restoration and amazing visuals, I loved this movie again 24 years later! The steelbook as well is nicely designed, I wouldn't have picked that cover for the design, but it's a steelbook!

Anyone who has seen The Liio King already knows how good it is & why they should have it in their collection. To those who have not seen it, do yourself a favor and add it to your collection immediately. It is one of the best (perhepas THE best) animated films Disney has ever relad.

Bought the film for my niece. I am working on building up a small collection of Disney movies for her and had to include what I consider one of the classics. The new short films and series are fine, but there are no substitutes for the the great story telling and illustrations of the classics.
