This is the movie my children remember. The current movie version did not live up to the hype. So, we bought this one for the grandchildren. Not disappointed.

We picked up this and the Little Mermaid (4k) at the same time. While I like the Little Mermaid better as a movie, the remastery on this was absolutely amazing.

Excellent movie to put on for the kids. Also fun movie for the whole family. Also works great as a baby sitting aid. An all time favorite in the Disney selection.

I remember going to see The Lion King as a child when it was first released in the theater. This 4K UHD transfer is fantastic. A must-have for anyone who loves Disney.

There was so many things that i think i missed as a kid as far a picture quality and brightness and just overall hue's this movie is amazing then and even better now

If you love disney and steelbooks then you should get this. Our family loves both and glad disney and bestbuy are bringing steelbooks for these movies.

Purchased this exact movie off of eBay, never could get the DVD to play past the scene in the Elephant Graveyard. Finally found a reliable NEW copy from Best Buy :)

i used to watch this movie all time when i was a kid, would pisss off my parents haha, so when i saw this was getting remaster in 4K HDR i just had to buy it...

I love steelbooks and Disney classics are the best. Wouldn’t purchase any other type of Disney movie. If it is not Disney and it isn’t a steelbook I don’t want it.

The Lion King 4K blu-ray is a great addition to any Disney lovers collection. It really is worth the upgrade if you already own the dvd or blu-ray version.

A must have for fans of this Disney classic. This steelbook is beautiful and the digital transfer of this movie is incredible. You will not be disappointed!

Great family movie brought this for my grandkids I still own the standard version young children will take this movie to heart as well as future generations

The movie is excellent!!! Was priced amazingly for a Blue Ray Movie, even though was Disney masterpiece which I thing are little overprice in other stores!

Trying to make sure that my grandkids have the same access to Disney classics as their parents did. So when I can get one on DVD/Blue Ray/Digital, I jump on it.

Turning a great classic like the Lion King into a 4k version of a great movie is brilliant! The colors and picture quality on this disc are amazing! Must see!

Same moving story . Good overcoming evil. Sad parts and very funny parts. Disney doing what is does best. Classic Kids movie that can be watched over and over.

If you are a Disney fan, you will almost certainly already own this movie. However the 4K transfer really make this movie pop! Great movie made visually better.

Still love this classic tale of growing into who you’re destined to be, fulfilling your destiny, rising up and standing up for what’s good and right.
