I didn't like this flick very much; was quite disappointed.

This copy doesn't include the ultraviolet copy at all . I took my copy back to the store and they could help me cause they don't sell it . So make sure your copy include 's it.

I have not watched this movie yet so I'm not sure about it but it was too cheap to not buy and I have heard good things about it.

Totally unrealistic movie. Great special effects but Tom Cruise has lost his luster.

Edge Of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, is a science fiction movie for people who love science fiction. The "aliens are coming and they are unstoppable" theme is not original, but the thematic approach to waging the war is rather unique. What if the attacking aliens were able to go back in time to a previous day whenever they suffer catastrophic losses? The end result would most likely be an alien victory - especially if they could remember what caused them to fail each time they shift time paradoxes. Enter Tom Cruise as Officer Cage. He is a coward, and has no will to fight the enemy personally - he would rather report the news from the safety of a sound stage. Unfortunately, he has just been given an order to join the forces fighting of the front lines. What happens next forms the basis of an interesting and entertaining film. The movie's strengths are also its weaknesses - the time travel scenes get a bit overdone, and the fight scenes happen very quickly, and the aliens are detailed but move too quickly for close examination. The real meat of the movie is the relative logic of time travel - if A + B = C, what happens when you remove B? What if A simply fails to exist - what then? Great fast paced action plot, good acting, excellent FX plus a bit of a love story too! What's not to LOVE?!

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie, it has some what of a rocky start and it pays off in the end

This going to be a classic. It has everything you want in a movie: action galore; humor; great acting; a little romance; wonderful direction and production values second to none. Despite horrible marketing of this great and very watchable movie, it is still going to be a solid success around the world. In the US, it will be another 100 million dollar movie to add to Tom Cruise's string of 100 million dollar box office winners. The script is topnotch. You live the same day with the character over and over. The character grows a little each day until he finally becomes able to see what he needs to be and what needs to be done to save the world from the alien invasion. Enough can't be said for how well this picture is crafted. It never misses a beat; and the leads Cruise and Blunt make you believe the story. Yet, the thing I appreciated most is that the humor is intrinsic to the story and not forced or artificial the way some movies use non-essential bantering humor. My hat is off to the cast, script writer and the director. It is the kind of movie you'll watch over and over because it is just that good.

In a movie industry growing stale and increasingly dependent on sequels or big name franchises, Edge of Tomorrow is a breath of much needed fresh air. It has action, it's comedic in a sneaky way, and manages to squeeze in some drama and suspense all backed by a solid sci-fi story. Tom Cruise's performance, naturally a very good actor even outshines himself compared to his recent movie outings as well as his co-star Emily Blunt who performs so well she arguably shares the spotlight of the movie. Both are backed by a very strong supporting cast. Don't worry if you can't find the Best Buy exclusive because the exclusive bonus is just a remixed, mishmash of all the special features in a 25 minute feature. Don't let this movie pass you by! Go buy Edge of Tomorrow!

I didn't know much about this movie before I bought it, other than a SciFi action flick starting Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Which, by themselves, could mean a good film. This movie comes as highly recommended by several professional reviewers, and I agree. Non-stop action, and an interesting storyline. Even the time shift sequences are taken with an unique approach and keeps you engaged. This is basically an action film, but the comedy touches keep the story line fresh. I knew I was adding it to the library before I was it, but after watching was very happy I made the purchase. The audio and video are at or near reference/demo quality status. Audio at MA 7.1, will keep you on the edge of your seat. The special features provide a good set of extras.

I saw this in theaters in 3D, and it was spectacular! Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt are both excellent in this film. The story, writing, action, and execution on this film are top notch, incredible. This was one of the most original movies I had seen in awhile when it came out, with all the reboots, and remakes that Hollywood seems to do now, this was a refreshing change. The BB exclusive is a nice extra, which gives you further insight on the making of the film (if you are into behind the scenes info/etc.), agree with another reviewer that said they wished it was also included in the 3D version from BB. Excellent sci-fi action film for anyone that likes these type of movies, enjoy!

I originally had no interest in seeing this but my brother was watching it one day and I was intrigued by the story. I started watching about 15 minutes in and only watched for a little while before I decided I wanted to buy it. The story line is great and very original. It was a great mix of action, adventure, comedy and even romance. The only thing I didn't like was the end felt like it was rushed and could have been done better, but I will still watch this movie many more times. So glad I finally own it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is very enjoyable with an extremely comedic scene or two. To me, it's Pacific Rim combined with Groundhog Day combined with Independence Day. I've never really seen Emily Blunt's work, but I was very impressed with her acting work in this movie. It is just long enough at just over an hour and a half. The only problem I have with the movie as a whole is the artwork. It makes one think the name of the movie is "Live...Die...Repeat." You don't even see the actual name of the movie unless you look for it. Other than that, I wholeheartedly recommend this movie, even if you're not a Tom Cruise fan.

Seen this movie on theaters and after watching it, I have thought I will buy this movie when it comes out in blu-ray 3D. Watched it again in blu-ray 3D in a 70-inch screen and 5.1 surround sound with lights out and felt the same emotions while watching it in the theaters. Totally entertaining!!! Well acted and well thought out storyline and script. Nothing cheesy about it at all. No cliche lines or scenes unlike most of the movies these days. Worth every penny spent for a blu-ray 3D movie and a sure collectible.

This movie is very much like a video game. Tom Cruise essentially gains access to a save point and can restart from the same spot over and over. When he dies, he goes back to the save point until he gets it perfectly right and defeats the final boss. Watch this movie, but get some air if you get motion sickness or something. The rapidfire camera movement isn't bad like in a Bourne movie, but some people had to leave the theater because the exosuit fighting is very fast.

I don't know why this film wasn't marketed more heavily. I got to screen it before release and nobody I mentioned it to had heard of it. I'm not sure I've seen more than two ads for the movie. To me, the film is titled "Edge of Tomorrow" because that was its theatrical title. I'm unsure why they decided to "fix" the title to include "Live Die Repeat" but I assume it's due to the lack of marketing. At the least, I urge people to see the movie. It's worth a buy though.

Got this on a black Friday deal, I normally don't care for Tom Cruise movies but after watching it pay-per-view decided it was worth the $8 deal to own it and rewatch. I probably would have gone 4 star but Tom Cruise actually exceeded my expectations. Of course he is still the hero but at least he portrayed a character who didn't start out that way. A few nitpick points but considering the concept there's always going to be paradoxes involved.

Not only did Cruise have a hit with his recent sci-fi "Oblivion", but now he turns around and hits another one out of the park with "Edge of Tomorrow". The cast, plot, action, and story-line are well executed and as plausible as any time-travel plot allows. (There are always some conundrums with logic for this genre.) I enjoyed it thoroughly and not only enjoyed it in the theater, but bought the blu-ray, knowing this is a movie I'll watch again.
